    A preview of the 2016 Turbo (non-Levo)

What has stopped me from buying a specialized ebike is that there have been only 2 modes of assistance - Eco and turbo. I like to use the least amount of help but stay comfortable with my bad knee. At least the new Levo line has three modes.

Stromer ST1 is getting a facelift

The green does nothing for me. But the blue ........ They only made the blue in a large with cross bar - not step through. I bet there are women who would have loved to own this blue bike.

    Any upgrades to Stromer ST1?

Brian - your bike looks great. Just a wonderful picture.

Recommendations On an E-bike or a kit?

Yes, unfortunately, the new bikes are expensive. I doubt the Omaha store has the 2015 models yet. So, go test ride. Just tell them up front you are just looking and want to wait for the 2015 models. Or that you really want the 29er but want to just check out the bikes overall. It will take the...

We just got our bikes this afternoon!

Congratulations! My electric bike has enabled me to ride a bike again - bad knee. I feel like superwoman or, at least, like I am 20 again. I always ride so I get exercise. Meaning I use the lower PAS settings and only go higher when I am going uphill. Enjoy.

    Advice for buying an E-Bike.

Check out Court's new review of the Easy Motion Evo Cross. The 2015 line of Easy Motions have really made some nice improvements and their paint jobs are great looking. Easy Motion has throttle and PAS. The Cross retails for $3000 - don't forget to shop around and get a good price. Crazy...

Gunna try these 650Bee Lines on my MTB.

So ... You find these are also good on paved roads and mild trail riding? Any other suggestions for 27.5 for that kind of riding?

Recommendations On an E-bike or a kit?

I live in similar circumstances. With a bad knee, I had really cut down on my bike riding. With an ebike, you will be super human - hills, what hills. First, if you do not currently have the funds to buy a high quality ebike, my opinion is that a bionx on your current bike is a really good...

Please help me choose a bike

It's Crazy Lenny's. I just checked the website and he still has the Stromer on there. It was a white, step-through, Platinum with only a handful of miles. He may also have Elites. Check the other bikes carried and give them a call. It's winter up in Madison so probably they are not selling...

Please help me choose a bike

Check out Crazy Lennies in Madison Wisconsin. He has some great deals on demos a few weeks ago when I last looked. Had a Stromer ST1 demo, low mileage for $2,200. If that is gone, see what other deals he might have.

Specialized Turbo vs iZip E3 Peak :: thoughts?

The Specialized Turbo X has front suspension for $200 more. The Specialized feels more like riding a regular bike. I tried the Dash and Peak. Just didn't feel nearly as natural or as high end.

I really like the Focus bike suggested by Chris. If there is a Focus dealer where you live, check it out. Also, for a hub motor bike, take a look at the Specialized Turbo X. It is in your price range, goes up to 27-28 mph, and is stealth looking with the battery. There are specialized bike...

    E-trike questions

Chris - as I was reading the q&a on Noomad's website they state that it is not for people with balance issues. The Noomad is like riding on a single front wheel and the bike cannot stand on it own. I guess they are developing a bike with more stable wheels. Guess I will focus on the Kiffy.

    felt sporte 95 question

The Haibike Superrace is a 28mph Bosch mid drive system. But does cost more money. Call around some of the larger ebike shops for prices. There is some flexibility. Also check out Shea's new post on a tuning system for the Bosch that allows you to go faster than the 20 mph cutoff. Personally...
