Need help with Haibike, M1 spitzing, stealth, optibike, Stromer, focus, or grace e bikes

You said you wouldn't want to go over 20 miles per hour earlier in this thread? You can go into the sf computer, and limit the current and speed. This could actually make for a pretty efficient ride. Someone went 76 miles on their bomber since they restricted the current. that bike is much...

Not to disagree with you, but wouldn't the larger risk be the M1? You are getting a European bike with some quite weird specs. Torque and top speed have never been associated in my mind together. when I emailed stealth about their fighter settings, they replied within 20 minutes. They seem like...

I've seen nothing bad about stealth over the Internet, and I've looked hard. stealth has some of the most buyer posted videos of the bike. I couldn't imagine going 45 miles per hour on a bike that takes around 10 seconds to get there. sadly it doesn't seem smart

currently, there aren't really any electric bikes related to stealth. HPC is a poor competitor considering their bag design. total lack of protection and heat dissipation.

We both know that stealth is running some serious power, so they are probably just trying to maximize the runtime.

Probably more like an upgraded Stromer. more of a city transportation tool

Well, maybe they really don't need the volts. think about it. this bike is already a powerhouse on 48 volts. The best way to feed all that power would be through amps.

I'm excited for the grace one.15. I may be able to change my riding style if it is worth it. The grace is like an exquisite piece of engineering. The stealth is like an intense powerhouse. quite different viewpoints if you are in the bikelane too. I'm afraid I would get pulled over with a...

really depends how "easy" the easy mode is. I think I'll be shooting them an email soon

Need help with Haibike, M1 spitzing, stealth, optibike, Stromer, focus, or grace e bikes

Purpose: Be able to do a roughly 20-25 mile round trip (I can limit the power consumption with the stealth computer, which will give me farther distance if I go about 15mph) the ability to go on trails, or bike lane (limit to ca legal) the ability to achieve 30+ mph with full suspension...

True, hopefully nobody tries to relocate her or take her to a facility.

skip to roughly 2:26. When they are learning how to ride the stealth, look how touchy the throttle is. quite amazing!!!

The bomber can go quite fast but I'm not sure if that speed is needed. considering the price and weight jump..

Need help with Haibike, M1 spitzing, stealth, optibike, Stromer, focus, or grace e bikes

Yes. 35 miles per hour on the fighter seems fine. I could imagine how much wind resistance you would achieve already!! the thing that concerns me about stealth is that there are 2 gears. easy and hard. you click the button on the center of the crank. if the battery dies I wonder if it is...

one time a mountain lion pooped on my deck, I couldn't believe what I saw. took me about 5 minutes with the hose to clean it up!! some pretty big cats if you ask me. just be careful. if she has Cubs in the area and you zip around in your bike, she may get protective

It's quite sad since I saw a lot of potential. imagine a bike that could accelerate 0-45 within 6 seconds, and had a twist throttle. it maybe has eh 55-65 nm of torque. When I first saw the bike I believed it was the case, but it seems that we have cracked the code!! It's clear that stealth...

You got it! Seems to be like a tractor in motorcycle form. this may prove to be good for people with tons of straight roads, but I know I'm not going to peddle up to 45 and immediately slow down on a bend. that would be crazy!!

I'm just quite afraid with the numbers I am seeing. think about this too, the bike is super light with those specs. Carbon fiber will save a few pounds, but nothing that substantial.

The motor will only burn out if they are using a lot of power in a super small motor. Usually, if you use a motor with more than enough power, it won't burn out since it isn't working too hard. if you squeeze everything a small motor can give, you will be producing some heat

Well. I may not be super good at numbers and conversions, but I certainly see something weird going on. How can that amount of torque be accomplished while maintaining such a high speed with such a small motor. Either there are some intense gear reductions, or the acceleration may be terrible...
