    Car Rack for Aurora Ltd

I would recommend a platform type rack with ramps. The Aurora is very heavy and you will break your back lifting it, even without the battery. My Saris Freedom Super Clamp 2 is an excellent rack with wheel straps for bikes with fenders, but without ramps it is hard to get the 56 lb. Aurora up...

quick question about using Pedal Assist v Throttle on hills

Either way you will use more motor and battery power. Personally, I like to keep my thumb on the throttle and use it on hills rather than increasing the PAS. It's just a personal preference.

    Best ebike repair stand

Whichever stand you decide on, make sure the clamp opens wide enough to accept the larger diameter ebike tubing. Otherwise you will have to clamp the seatpost, which should have a light coating of grease on it. Not a good idea.

    Raleigh Sprite IE Fixer Upper

You can find dealers by zip on the website and call them. I don't think there are too many. One I can recommend is Bloomfield Bike Shop in Bloomfield Ct. https://www.raleighusa.com/

not happy with what i have

It sounds like your battery is dying. You should be able to get up to 35+ miles with that motor and a good battery. If you call Raleigh/iZip they may be able to sell you a key.

    TranzX ebike crank/pedals slipping

As was mentioned in your other thread, try calling Raleigh to see if they have parts and a diagram available. If not, check with a Raleigh dealer rather than poke around in the motor. If they can fix it for a reasonable cost you would still be way ahead of the game.

    TranzX ebike crank/pedals slipping

We have two bikes with that motor and have not experienced it slipping from within. It sounds more like your chain is slipping. Check the chain tension and the sprocket teeth for wear. If the chain is OK, the gear cable and derailleur may need adjustment. If there is in fact an internal problem...

    First time e-ride

Be aware that ebikes are much heavier than analog bikes so make sure you have your footing if the bike starts to lean at a standstill. I found that out the hard way. ;)

    Video ¡¡¡¡Its Fabio!!!JAJA!!

Fabio is talented, but if you watch the out takes, I believe he will eventually injure himself beyond repair, or die. Does anyone think he put several other people in harm's way while performing his "Snow Show"? There were some pretty close calls at high speed.

    Panniers for Aurora Limited

My Aurora battery sits on the rear rack. The battery is flat on top and somewhat curved on the side. It slips into the rack from the top and it has a sprung keeper for the pannier. Without that keeper you would have to rig something to keep the pannier in place. They don't make the batteries...

    Panniers for Aurora Limited

There are a plethora of panniers available. Mine is made by Banjo Brothers and is more of a saddle bag that hangs down on both sides. There is room for two laptops plus tools, food, water or anything else you care to pack. My wife's is also a Banjo. It has zippers that release the flaps to hang...

    Chain drive DIY kit questions

Why not get a 36v battery now and lock the gear shifter in the gear that gives you the maximum speed you desire. When you want to increase the speed, unlock the shifter. Of course he or she wouldn't be able to downshift, but for a kid that shouldn't be a problem.

    Step Thru Help needed please!

To answer your first question, I have used both types of throttle. It is really a matter of preference. I didn't care for the twist throttle because it requires a full turn of the wrist, where the thumb throttle is just an easy press of the thumb. Someone on this forum posted a device that...

Throttle vs no throttle thread #516

There are two reasons I like to have the availability of a throttle: 1. Speed boost when going uphill. 2. Easier starting from a stop. Otherwise, I don't use it. That's it.

    Mongoose Envoy

Although not a cargo bike, my Mongoose was an excellent conversion candidate. With the 500w motor it easily climbs steep hills and it is very light. I can still ride it without the battery, but choose not to although I sometimes turn off the assist. During winter, I don't ride below 50°, which...

If you don't have the serial number, an authorized Raleigh/iZip dealer can replace the lock.

TRANZX LOGIX anyone familiar with using this Software?

In order to download the Logix software you must be a dealer, but if you have access to it, here's a how-to video:
