Info and Thoughts on Espin Flow

Thanks for the updated review. I have a Sport and I like the handle bars but got different grips for comfort. I believe you can change the handlebar easily if you decide you do not like it. Good to hear the gearing worked for you.

I think it has been 180 mm for awhile.

Espin Flow pedal assist power levels

I think you can make some adjustments to the levels in the display using advanced settings but I left mine the way they were. I may have changed the max amperage. I found speed in PAS 1 to be slow enough for me.

Affordable Step Through Bike for City

I think you would like one of the choices other than Aventon Pace 350. Many complain that on the Aventon you cannot use your throttle from a complete stop, unlike your other choices. Throttles that work from complete stop are good to get you going at intersections or if you have to stop on an...

    Ebike Suggestion

Foldable, reliable and worth the money for less than $1,000, I suggest the Lectric Step Thru. We have one. $900 and free shipping includes powerful 500 w motor, fenders, lights, rear rack. Folds. 20 inch fat tires gives stability and more comfortable ride. Decent battery with better range than...

Jupiterbike Defiant, Sondors Fold X, Aventon Sinch?

Thanks for the report. I am 5 `8" so height is not an issue. Good to know it seems powerful enough. Interested in it because it is only 40 lbs. Battery would seem to limit range.

Known Issues & Problems with Espin Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

I think power fluctuation on an indicator is normal for e bikes. I have not noticed it on my Sport but I do not usually notice the power bar while riding.

Help me choose (PLEASE) between a Aventon Pace 500, Level, Ride1Up 500, 700, LMTD

Great. Hope it comes soon. I really like my Sport and a few recent updates may even make it better. It is easy and inexpensive to add or change accessories if you wish.

DIY adding more lights (turing signals) etc - anyone done this?

I bought a helmet with lights including turn signals. Operates from helmet, app on phone or controller on handle bar. Easier to see lights on helmet. There is another helmet, not mine , where turn signal operated from apple watch when you make appropriate signal with arm.

I think I've officially over-researched. Too many options. Too many conflicting opinions.

I think Ride1up is the worst on versioning. I can understand when companies have to substitute some components because of a shortage, ie shimano or Kenda. However Ride1up frequently tweaks bikes with no notice, especially when it comes to the controllers. For example, they shipped bikes with...

Help me choose (PLEASE) between a Aventon Pace 500, Level, Ride1Up 500, 700, LMTD

What lighter bike are you considering ? I too have a Sport and like it. Kind of considering getting a light and cheap folding bike for traveling. Costco has these Jupiter Discovery 5x folding e bikes for $600. Single gear, small battery and light. However I cannot find out much about them...

Help me choose (PLEASE) between a Aventon Pace 500, Level, Ride1Up 500, 700, LMTD

Nice. I have a Sport. Really like it. I prefer the non colored display. The Espin Nero comes with a colored display and I think it is harder to read in sunlight.

Confusion after trying some affordable bikes

I second the Espin Flow. Step through. Comfortable. I have the similar non step through Sport and I think it rides nicely in level 1 on bike path. Unlike some bikes the throttle works from a full stop which is great at intersections. Well built. It is 55 lbs. with rack and fenders. Nice...

Espin Flow pedal assist power levels

I think you can make some adjustments in the advanced settings from the display. For example you can change the number of assist levels. I am not sure if you can change speeds at a level by changing the ASr parameter. You could also lower top speed. I do not know if that will change speed at...

I think I read something about this on the forum. I have not changed my tires. Espin can probably tell you.

    New E-Biker

I think it is not really cheaper in the long run to use a kit. You can buy a retail bike and get a warranty.
