I ended up getting a Wahoo Tickr Fit arm band that works great.

I didn't have the bracket break, but the mount did. Out of frustration I ended up using JB Weld to hold it in position.

After stumbling around online and my LBS unable to help, this video answered all my questions. You'll be seeing my order soon. Thanks.

I am one of the guys that has mentioned batteries falling out. It was on my Allant 8S. I brought it to my local Trek-Authorized shops. The adjustments made there have made the battery locking work fantastically. If anyone else has issues, I would absolutely recommend doing the same.
