Long time Ebiker, new to forum.

8 years! What took you so long to find the website with the best people, and by far, the most information you could possibly want. It's the first place I tell people to go to if there's any interest in ebike info. Oh well, "Better late than never." Welcome aboard......elliot

Bosch Speed Performance system shuts down mid ride.

Just to keep all informed that bringing the battery mounts slightly closer worked for me as well. It's been months without an incident. A big relief. Thanks for the suggestions......elliot

recommendations for an inexpensive repair stand

Bought this one in September last year and have had no problems putting my 40 pounder on it. https://www.amazon.com/Bikehand-Mechanic-Bicycle-Repair-Stand/dp/B00D9B7OKQ/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1544453865&sr=8-3&keywords=bike+stand Plenty of reviews and a couple of videos showing the procedure...

Protecting bikes on Saris Bones carrier? Bike fit behind front seat in Honda Accord?

Weight, I believe, wont be a problem. After removing the battery from my Felt Sporte 85HP, it probably weights in at about 40 lb. I've transported that, along with my wife's 25 pound Raleigh on my Saris Bones on the back of my Accord or Camry for hundred mile excursions, many times without...

    Multi tool for bikes.

An Alum wrench/screwdriver multtool, CO2 cartridge and inflator, electric tape, spare tube, tire gauge, 2 "kmc missing links", Presta to schrader valve converter if I'm near a gas station, and a decent flash light rounds out my saddle bag's contents. Reviewing my list now, I think I'll see if...

    Warranties

Felt warrants theirs and fitted bosch components for two years. One thing to add. They won't warrant a mail ordered bike of theirs and I've heard of this from a few other companies as well so people should do their homework before ordering on line.

    SLX shift indicator

this is what came with my SLX shifter on my felt Sport 85. Doesn't have actual number but just an arc with a red indicator that moves along the path. The one in the picture is pointing to the highest gear all the way on the left. At the lowest gear it would be all the way to the right, with...
