    Update on Domane HP ownership

Great report. The bikes have amazing range. I rode mine last night again just loving the bike. I actually had two dogs that were wanting to come after me as I climbed a steep hill pass a farm. I put it on I think Sport and got pass them & they kind of gave up! Lol! It felt good to have...

    Update on Domane HP ownership

I have the same bike though I upgraded the wheels to the carbon wheels that are on the HP7. I have a non E Trek Madone that weighs about 17 lbs with Dura Ace so very similar bikes. I have grown to like the bigger tire and I felt they were a tad porky too when I first got mine. I have had my...

My updated Trek Domane +HP review - now with 4565 miles on it

I have noticed my last couple of rides that if I use my bike mainly on the Eco setting with the weather getting warmer my range is closer to 70+miles. It still pretty windy though. The bike has over 400 miles on it and I wonder why my range has pushed up at least 10 miles on a single charge...

    Trek Domane +HP 2021

I rode the Domane Fazua LT and the Creo before ordering the Domane HP. I really liked the Creo and if the dealer was more local I probably would have went with it. I rode two different Domane LTs and they were not impressive in the least bit. I am very happy with my HP.

    Trek Domane +HP 2021

So the video on the web sight shows which way to slide to adjust the firmness etc. I actually have no idea how to adjust the front and agree I don't know if it is possible.

    Trek Domane +HP 2021

The video on their web sight is pretty good at showing how to do adjust the slider etc. Then you will have to play with it to get it correct for you. It took me a few times to get it where I wanted it. Actually it is easy once you get the hang of it.

My updated Trek Domane +HP review - now with 4565 miles on it

Very good write up as I bought the Domane HP and took delivery in March this year. I enjoy reading your long term report, I only have just under 400 miles on mine. I live in Indiana just outside Chicago and the weather so far has not been ideal for riding to say the least. I think most...

The ISO Speed seat design is great once it is dialed in.

    Trek Domane +HP 2021

I think my Domane comes in at around 35 lbs and I believed the carbon version of the Creo's are just under 30 for the normal non s works bike. The Bosch motor that is on the Domane HP has very good power. Can you test ride a Domane HP? I believe the Domane LT will feel the same as the Creo to...

    Trek Domane +HP 2021

Your welcome. I am very satisfied with my Trek and I know most Creo owners love their bikes also. I think you wouldn't regret the Domane and the extra power is always nice to have. They are both high quality road bikes. I live in Indiana so big hills or mountains are not an issue.

    Trek Domane +HP 2021

I test rode a Creo and actually quite liked it (I am 64) but it was totally on flats. The Domane is probably 5-7 lbs more depending on model. I bought the Domane mainly because my LBS is a Trek dealer and would have to drive a bit to the Specialized store. I can tell you the Domane should...

    First trek bike

My LBS told me to get them off pretty quick since he knew how to balance already. He does pedal big wheels etc. Good picture btw.

    First trek bike

I bought a similar bike last week for my 4.5 year old grandson. He has a balance bike that he does well with but has out grown it. The question is how long to leave the training wheels on before letting him try to pedal and balance. The bike I bought was a Pre Caliber, I think. 16" wheels.

    Update on Domane HP ownership

Thanks for your response. Mine is very quiet now. It went out of adjustment pretty quick and I had to spend time getting the ISO speed adjusted to quiet it down also. Love the bike and it is a little dead feeling without assist I do agree but figure I ride almost 95% of the time in eco it...

    Update on Domane HP ownership

I took the HP in to my LBS because of the continued clicking noise seemed like coming from the chainring area and the shifting issue. The cable had stretched and they adjusted it and the noise went away. I took a quick short ride yesterday afternoon. The front chain ring is quiet now.

Why no surveys from the bike manufacturers?

    Thanks everyone for their thoughts.

Why no surveys from the bike manufacturers?

I generally don't like surveys but I still think that it is weird that I bought two fairly high end bikes one from Trek and one from Santa Cruz and have had no follow up, by the mfg. The LBS is a friend so he knows if I am happy with the bikes or not. I am happy btw but what does the...
