I cleaned off the old grease that was kinda hard. See the pic of the gears..that's what it looked like..I then used black moly grease for gears. I did this at 2800 km...I don't know if this was necessary though. I did for curiosity. It was simple to take apart..just six screws and then a light...

Thought people might be curious what the inside of the hub looks like. Fyi. Everything looks great..no issues, add a little grease and back together again.

Its not a hack. And no it doesn't affect the warranty. Its shipped that way as as a Class 2 ebike initially with the option by the owner to change it to Class 3 and to change the decal on the bike...ya right..lol

Yes it's a great addition to these bikes at any price. To get the most out of it....take a hex key with you on a ride and start with the seat post adjusted to the softest setting and go over some repetitive bumps back and forth while increasing the tension till you get it where your floating...

Pretty hard to damage the frame on these. There built like tanks..Both Kimbo and I have tested this...don't ask us why lol

Pop something on you 💊...lol My base may be a bit smaller. You could still lay it on its side with the axle on a piece of wood or something and tilt it up the so you could slide it in. Might be easier than trying to lift the whole bike on to the pole..

Don't lift the bike on to the post....you'll pop something. Lie the bike on its side and insert the post up the tube...then you just lift the bike upright on to the stand. You don't need to remove the battery either.

Hi...why did you remove the seat post. That's what holds the dowel from going too far..why would the dowel damage anything? The seat post goes in the frame and doesn't damage anything.....Curious..

It was easy...I used spare peices of tubing and or pipe that fit inside each other until the wooden dowel fit snuggly in side it. Go to your local metal store and you can probably find all you need there..

The part that goes in the bottom of the seat post is 7 1/4"...you can move your seat post up and down to raise or lower the bike while working on it...the seat post is the stopper for the stand. As you can see in the pictures I had to use reducers to go from the size of the umbrella to 1 5/16"...

Use a dowel then..it's cheaper or go to a metal shop and get the right size pipe..metal is better and probably cheaper...
