The seat post has an adjustment on the bottom of it. You can fine tune it and get it so you don't even know it's there you just float....my seat is a suspension seat...no problem.

Trust me you need a suspension seat post.

If you look on alixpress you can get the longer suntour post. It's 400mm.My inseam is 32 and the suntour is a great improvement and lots of post is still in the bike.

I am the one that used the umbrella stand. It's really heavy so it's ultra stable. Probably not that easy to find one. On the other hand if you go to a automotive repair shop and get a used drum or rotor from a full size pick up or van. This would work well as a base also.
