Brake upgrade for 2015 epik se

Hydraulic brakes would be an upgrade, but hydraulic lines on a folding bike are not really a good idea. Are you having a problem with the brakes; how are you dissatisfied with them?

700 seat post.. not a quick release clamp?

Not sure I understand what you mean by the O.D. of the clamp. Do you not mean the I.D. of the clamp? If you want to buy a different clamp, remove the old one and measure the O.D. of the frame's seat tube. That will be the size you need.

    Cross Core Experience Welcome

The Civante is also a class 3, 28 mph bike vs. the Cross Core's class 1, 20 mph limit. It can be done, but it would not be cheap. So if you want a flat bar bike, buy one that is already set up that way. That said, if you have never tried drop bars, I would encourage you to do so. Drops are more...

Specialized Turbo Creo 28mph Electric Road Bike

I am experienced, and I do not see any problem with converting a Vado SL to drop bars, other than cost. Will it ride the or handle same as a Creo? No, but so what? It is probably akin to the difference between a road bike and a gravel bike.

    Giant E+4 grips.

There are only two types of handlebar grips; ones that rely on friction to grip the handlebar, and lock-on grips that are held in place with one or two lockrings. If there are no lockrings with hex key fasteners, then your bikes has friction grips. Here is how to remove and replace handlebar grips:

    Giant road E pro

I am not familiar with how the Giant battery is mounted. Could you put a piece of foam on the inside to dampen the rattle and get rid of the ugly strap?

    Segway C80 ebike

Mini bike style e-bikes seem to be popular, so I do not see why a scooter style e-bikes would not also be popular. Neither style appeals to me, but I am not the target market. As for people getting pulled over, not my problem. :p

Trek Powerfly 4 vs Yamaha YDX-YORC

I have not ridden either bike. But the difference is more than just $400, because the Yamaha has an air fork vs. the coil fork on the Trek. The Yamaha has a step up in other components as well, with Shimano SLX 11 speed vs. Deore 10 speed, Shimano brakes vs. Tektro, and centerlock rotors vs...

Cube Kathmandu 2021 - Alternative Cranks

If I am not mistaken Bosch motors use ISIS standard crank arms, so and left ISIS arm of the correct length will suffice. The length should be printed or stamped on the inside of the arm; 170, 172.5, and 175mm are the most common sizes. As CN points out, if the arm's pedal threads are not...

sure looks like a scam bike to me on indiegogo

I doubt it is a scam; the people who backed this will likely get their bike. It is just another Chinese fat folder, after all. But the claims made are surely oversold and fantasy.

    Fat Tire tire liners

Mr. Tuffy liners normally overlap the ends by a couple of inches. If you cut them down to fit a smaller diameter tire, let the cut lie underneath the factory cut end.

    Headlights???

It really depends on where and how fast you are riding. My wired-in light is an StVZO compliant, and it is fine for being seen and putting out enough light for urban use at slower speeds, but it is not enough for unlit paths at night and greater speeds.

    Headlights???

While not the brightest, I have the Fenix BC30R, which puts out a reliable 800 lumens on high; the newest version does 1000 lumens. The ad copy states 1800, but that is only in burst mode which is only useful for flashing oncoming traffic. The Fenix BC30 puts out 1500 on high and uses...
