    Thule Easy Fold XT

I've had my Easyfold for 3 years now, used twice a week, no problems. Have done some 5 or 6 hour drives, 2 ebikes up, no problem. Any 'reports' of a bike falling off would indicate that the bike wasn't loaded/secured correctly. Securing a bike is idiotproof. Securing a second bike just takes a...

I sure would like to have some suggestions and advise.........

As the leader of a cycle group I always say that I carry around enough tools to change the wheels on a 747. Others, don't carry much. One guy only takes his cell phone on the basis that if he has any problem he will ring for a taxi to take him and the bike home. After a few rides you will work...

what do you use to navigate

Mapy.cz works down here in New Zealand. Impressed with the detail (house numbers) it displays. Although it doesn't pick up some of the tracks that I know of.

    The Terrible Awful Chainguard

If you need to secure your pants leg from catching on the chain ring fold it over at the cuff and tuck it in your sock. Worked for me from the middle of last century.

How to fit a rear rack on a full suspension bike?

Plus 1 on the Thule Pack 'N Pedal Tour Rack . I have a Topeak bag with wet weather gear, first aid pack, spare tube, and a lot of tools. I have never used the panniers on each side. been running this for over 2 years and the only "problem" is the tools rattle a bit on mountain bike tracks.

Going back to that photo of Davids 165mile ride with Mt Ruapehu in the background. Lake Taupo in the foreground is the crater of a volcano which blew about 1800 years ago. It was the biggest in the world in the previous 5000 years. Some reports of ash in China and in Rome.

SHOW us YOUR PIX here .... Odd, WeiRd ,UnUSuAl or EyE CaTchIng things from your rides

There's a story about a police chase where the villains were out in the country and giving the cops a run for their money. They came round the corner and here's this great big mob of sheep. They got nicked. And it turns out the sheep were owned by another cop who just happened to be moving...

+ 1 on the helmet. The 'pink' has similar colouring to the rest of the photo and blends in a little.
