Congrats to Court on the WUSA9 coverage!

We all watch all the splendid reviews and probably all wonder, what is the back story? Thanks, man, you are doing a great thing...

    Daymak, first escooter?

Trailer on the Chameleon... Both scooters use a computer plug on the chargers. Lead acid is double the weight, only good for maybe 1/3 the number of charge cycles, and older tech. If you can afford it, the lithium is the much better option I would say. My Eagle does not have any app or wifi...

    Daymak, first escooter?

Both the E and C scoots have very solid rear racks. I often use the C rear rack to lift the scooter in tight confines. Can't do that with the much heavier Eagle. If you are talking only 15km round trip save your money and get the lead acid. Much cheaper initially, but will need more frequent...

    Daymak, first escooter?

I have a three year old Eagle that was originally 72v, but that was converted to 84v about 6 months after i got it. The cells had to be replaced under warranty due to a charger malfunction (it never shut off). This was done through bikeandforth.com in Toronto. The upgrade gave me 10-15 percent...

    Daymak Drive App Settings

I really doubt anyone is able to get 80 kph from a Chameleon. They originally advertised it as a 40 MPH (67 kph) scooter, so I was disappointed. Best I could do was about 57 kph. Now, I am a heavy bugger at over 300 pounds, but even at that I managed 80 km of range in one flat out go, which was...

    Daymak Beast Bluetooth Controller Upgrade

Fabulous! Using the horn buttons in this way seems a great idea. Well done, Mark!

    Daymak Drive App Settings

I really doubt anyone has got their Chameleon going faster than an indicated 55 kph using the app settings alone.

    Chameleon solar back box installation

Thank you! Questions have been sent off...i will update later, in case any one else comes across this problem. Aug. 4th: Daymak is sending an adaptor.

    Chameleon solar back box installation

i just got the back box that was supposed to come with the scooter, over a year late. Has anyone installed one of these at home? Two issues...both nine pin connectors are female, and it looks like i need to cut a hole in the scooter to run the wire bundle through...am I missing something...

Has anyone ordered a Daymak Chameleon?

My Lithium Chameleon is a year old and when fully charged reads 98-99 V. This drops as the cells are depleted of course.

Has anyone ordered a Daymak Chameleon?

I disagree with Daniel2091. I have both an Eagle and a Chameleon. While the latter is MUCH lighter it has proven solid over the last year and has incredible torque and braking. It will carry me up the steepest hills with hardly any slowing down, while there are some hills that will slow the...

    Daymak Drive App Settings

My switch is 1-2-3. I never use the buttons on the key fob honestly.

    Daymak Drive App Settings

There is a 1-2-3 switch on the right handlebar. Always leave it in 3. I posted a list of app settings elsewhere in this forum, but here you go... To pair with the controller the bluetooth password is 12345678 To get to the dealer settings, connect the app to the bike and do a four fingered...

Has anyone ordered a Daymak Chameleon?

Weird. I have had mine over a year now and I would say the speedo is pretty accurate. Mine tops out about 56-57 kph, certainly nowhere near the 40 mph Daymak advertised. And you can dial in any hue or intensity via the app.

    Daymak Drive App Settings

No idea. I want to go as FAST as possible, not limit the thing unnecessarily. I got the settings info above from Wing at Daymak in Toronto.

    Daymak Drive App Settings

Yes that is pretty much the function, it is a three position speed limiter. I never use anything other than position 3. For the Chameleon max speed is about 55 kph on a full charge, this declines to about 50 at half charge. But i weigh 280 pounds and I can go 80 km on a charge. The Eagle's top...

    Eagle vs Chameleon

So I have been using the Chameleon exclusively for the last month, because the rear tire on the Eagle essentially rotted out after 7000 km and a year and a half, and replacements were back-ordered from China. (BTW it cost me $225 just for labour to have my local car shop swap the tire, so go to...

    Daymak Eagle 84v upgrade

Karma...I was just thinking I should do another post on the Eagle, yesterday. My work commute route is mostly on a two lane rural highway. In winter, it is not really feasible to ride the Eagle due to ice, snow and slush on the sides of the road. Not to mention the chance of being faced with a...

    Eagle vs Chameleon

Just comparing the two Daymak electric scooters. Both are 84V, the larger Eagle has lead acid cells and about a 30 km usuable range. The much lighter Chameleon can get about 80 km with its lithium ion batteries. The Chameleon is much torquier, and much more aggressive in braking, although this...
