Is there a anti flat tire for Rad Rover.

Bike-On liquid does it for me. Rad Rover tire users will be answering you soon...there are a lot of them, it seems.

I need some advice here--getting a different bike ... or a second battery?

Rad City has a step-thru and the batteries are interchangeable with your husband's bike. An extra upgraded battery for your Luna will give you many years of service at a reasonable price, given how you love your bike. I bought a second battery for my Rad City, as I figured we're in this for the...

Actually, ebikes will get you much LESS exercise

Now I see argument for argument's sake. Tell it to my sweaty mentally satisfied self after a fast 20 miles...having blown by a couple of other riders...road only, of course...no trail ferns were startled in the making of my workout. ?

Easy Freewheel (rear cassette) Change on my RadMini Under $50

Gears. Love em...constantly calculating ratios... Found a freewheel maker who has a few high quality 7 speed units for a reasonable $60 price...IRD. Especially attractive is a 13-32. I'm spinning out the 14 tooth (85") at 22 mph, but there's no way I'd ever push a 11 tooth 108" gear on a 60#...

RadCity 1200 mile report (new owner)

2018 Rad City here with almost 500 miles...have not ever noticed a fall-off in battery performance. I always recharge before the next ride. The Slime should help your flats...I swear by Bike-On liquid, but that should do just fine. I've had two inside flats, caused by my habit of running at...

A Rad owner's impressions of the LBS

Every single time I've called Rad to ask a technical question, I've been able to speak with knowledgeable person. The reports from other owners on this site are the main reason I bought this bike. Couldn't be happier!

    Rad City Tire Pressure.

Had flat #2, this time on the front tire, which was run at 80#. This one was exactly like the first, and was fixed with rim tape the same way...I was waiting for it to happen. This flat also happened in the garage, after a 33mi. run.

How Important are Disc Brakes for a Heavy Rider?

My disc mechanical brakes are so superior to any rim brakes I've ever had that I have to apply them very carefully. I can't imagine using a full handful. Stopping power to burn.

    Upgrade charger (2018)

I'm comfortable using a timer, as staying in the 20-80% window, which includes all non-usage time, seems to be the important idea...the deterioration of cells, oxidation or whatever, seems to be accelerated outside of this window...for my $1100 of batteries, way more than the rest of the bike...

    My handlebars keep coming loose

Locktite is not the answer. On the left side is a loose silver disc, with ratchets on the outer edge similar to the other side. Both get loose and are tightened by the same nut. It is the failure to fully seat both discs before tightening the nut that causes the joint to loosen. Once set, it...
