New Bolton Ebike Collaboration With Watt Wagons

Yeah, kind of why I was curious RE: Falcon/M600 and Innotrace. I'm quite happy with my X2 with VESC/Ludi V2 controller overall. I can't (probably) hold at 30mph+, but for the riding I do, I'm pretty happy with it. I rarely go beyond PAS 3 of 9 on 'Trail' mode. (would need to check RE: max...

Luna X2 w/ Ludicrous Controller - top speed & range questions

Not listed on Bafang’s site as of yet, and as mentioned, only seen the FLX Weapon advertised with it. Considering the recent M510 variant of the M500, am guessing it will be similar, perhaps slightly lighter and slightly more claimed power/torque output. Like @JRA mentioned, we’re all hoping...

New Bolton Ebike Collaboration With Watt Wagons

Did this ever actually happen - anyone have an M600 + Innotrace ebike now?

Luna X2 w/ Ludicrous Controller - top speed & range questions

Durability has been fine for me and many others. In addition to IOUZip's posted link to Rob's build, there are probably hundreds of documented E10 frame builds on emtb forums. Very few if any reported issues on the frame. The motor uses a 'silent gear' which is a form of polymer material vs...

Luna X2 w/ Ludicrous Controller - top speed & range questions

No comparison IMO. The X2 has a lot more power vs Bosch and the like. The responsiveness with the LudiX2 controller is decent. Hopping on/off my wife's Bosch at 'high power' feels like me in mid-power profile at level 2 of 9. The rampup of added power was probably a bit faster on the X2, but...

    Black Friday Free Shipping, NOT!!

Not an employee or customer of Biktrix, and while I have some issues with their Monte* pricing vs e.g. Luna X2, I have had numerous good and professional responses from Biktrix support, going back to trying to find 'compatible' parts for my Eunorau. I've got to think it's as Roshan stated - if...

    Monte Capro Ultra

It's generally not worth the $$ for re-calibration unless you can find someone local that does it for $20 or so. All torque wrenches have some inherent inaccuracy in them from the factory 'calibration' and usually range from like 4-6% or so. The ISO standard claims 'should' calibrate every...

Luna X2 rear Axle almost failed!

X2. Not a huge deal, just expanded the preventative maintenance list a bit.

    Luna X2 - Upgrade to 29" wheels?

Simple enough for the rear, but depending on the fork and rim/tire combo you may run into clearance issues on the front. There 'shouldn't' be much difference, but check the fork mfgr specs on their 27.5 vs 29" offerings before going for it if you choose to.

Luna X2 rear Axle almost failed!

Haven't had the chainring issue, or not to failure, or the axle issue. Chainring bolts loosened even though I had the chainring off and had loc-tited. Lost one of the crank arm 'caps' that can't easily source exact replacements for, and had one crank arm come off on a ride - which was also...

Just ordered a Hydra power questions

The Archon controller is both more efficient than the Bafang controller, and allows for higher power, although YMMV as to if you 'need more power.' The prior post which wasn't quoted isn't entirely wrong, as the UART M620 has many more configurable settings, while best I can tell, relatively...

Luna X2 w/ Ludicrous Controller - top speed & range questions

Not sure if you have the Ludiv2 controller version or not, but either way, you can set the display to 9 assistance levels. With the Ludi controller, you can do further adjusting, but on non-ludi, setting the controller to 9 levels, 2 of 9 should be your current 1 of 5. On the Ludi you can set...

Installed Corn Head Grease in my new Luna Z1 Bafang Ultra Mag

Where do they have the zerk fitting specifically?

    Monte Capro Ultra

Yeah lol, some of the display abbreviations are NOT intuitive. I think I googled the display's user manual first time I came across that 'AL Sensitivity' one as well. :D

I just sent this message to Biktrix regarding the Unprogrammable Canbus Ultra motor

Yep - quite a few 'less than thrilled' with WW as sole US distributor. I'm not convinced there's any 'value add' by them, as have seen people who were able to order a motor/controller wait over a year and numerous waiting for Innotrace account activation, (unique to Innotrace) programming...

I just sent this message to Biktrix regarding the Unprogrammable Canbus Ultra motor

There's no Ludi/VESC for the Z1, but Luna's Z1 still has UART motors/controllers and is in your price range. I think they SHOULD make the Ludi/VESC controller available for CANBUS Ultras, but I'm not in charge of Luna.. ;) Innotrace controller AFAIK works for CANBUS motors, but in the US...

    Useful addition to any BBSXX

That's interesting as they list a 500C CANBUS display, but I've never seen one in the wild or on Ali etc. May go search again. Also not seeing one of the newer displays, I think it's like 'Z1' or something (aliexpress acting up at moment so can't confirm model # etc.)

    Upcoming FLX Weapon

Some interesting bits in there. M610 and Onyx E1 forks on the Weapon X (M600 and Onyx E2 on the Weapon). 58# claimed weight - will measure my X2 when I remember in current configuration but the Weapon/X seems heavier. 160mm front/150mm rear travel. Same groupset but upgraded shifter to GX...

    Upcoming FLX Weapon

That would be interesting. They did this with the M500 -> M510 so wouldn't be entirely surprising, but haven't heard about it. Curious as to actual changes if there's a new M600 variant, and if it uses the same mounts as existing M600. TBD on actual difference, including e.g. compared to Luna...

Bafang Ultra "Smooth" tune by Mike at Frey

The UART Ultras/M620s can be programmed/configured much like the other Bafang motors - there may be a different binary which basically adds another tab for 'torque' in the app UI. Try this: https://support.biktrix.com/kb/guide/en/52v-programming-for-bafang-ultra-m620-motor-BIfWisFRBi/Steps/1142506
