I had to have a new battery to motor power cable. $27.00 installed on my turbo levo. My old cable would work with dielectric silicon grease on the connector. You can get it at any auto parts store. It is used on all the connections on your car.

As for volunteers, in Washington State, the city was required to record ss numbers of all volunteers and pay L&I insurance if you followed the rules. Most don't.
