We have an attached garage where the bikes are stored, but I've always brought the batteries in for charging/storage.

Previously I speculated that the Air Tags would succeed where others had failed because they are integrated into Apple's IOS system instead of depending on an app from the tracker manufacturer. It seems my prediction was spot on. :)
