    Ride Control EVO questions

These displays are terrible. Seriously. A Massive Speedo. Almost all of the left hand side is dedicated to power levels, then you have to scroll through the other stats one at a time. They could have all fit onto one screen.

    Peddling on a BBSHD

I've got a Giant Quick E with the Yamaha motor and that's got a torque sensor. This is partly why I asked the question about the BBSHD for a conversion. I love the yamaha motor. Assist gives me a certain level of power on top of what my legs are putting in. I can have it in ECO and it sort of...

    Disappointed by TSDZ2 torque-motor performance

I've been researching this motor for 4 minutes and almost the first thing that comes up in every post is how you have to pedal and it feels like a real bike. This is why people like them, I have a Giant Quick-E with a torque motor and love it cos you still feel like you're riding a bike. You...

    Peddling on a BBSHD

Thanks for all the further responses - am going to do some further research into the TSDZ2 as a few have mentioned it and sounds like would suit me. Going into a 100mm BB fatbike. Am sure they have adapters. And it'll be simple....surely.... :-/

    Quick-E+

Thanks Alan, are we talking every cable? Or leave some to have some slack around the top of the motor? Above where the big main bolts go. I can see some room above there and am wondering if the space is supposed to be used. Or no, just shove everything up the downtube?

    Quick-E+

Ok it can't be this hard. Installing the Speedbox 2. Do you shove all the cables back into the frame? Also the speed sensor comes from underneath and doesn't look like there is a channel for it to slot back into. I've been at this for an hour and cannot for the life of me get the motor to go...

    Peddling on a BBSHD

Thanks for the help everybody! Sounds like there's no simple way to do it. Might have to start looking further into rear hub drives I think.

    Peddling on a BBSHD

Hey all, I'm researching Mid Drives, everywhere I read about the BBSHD and how peddling makes almost no difference, you barely have to pedal and the motor will do all the work (not using the throttle). Thing is, I'd like to get some exercise when using this to commute to work. 30km each way...

    The Best EBike Tire(s)

I commute 30km each way on pavement so offroad is not a concern, that and I'm on a bike with no suspension.

Widespread Giant motor creaking problem - time for a recall?

I did a 60k ride and found the motor was creaking a little bit, got home and each of the big hex motor screws were not lose, but not tight, have tightened them up and will see if it comes back.

Known Issues & Problems with Giant Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Anybody have a Quick E? Mine came with the rear fender out of alignment - sitting 2/3 on the tire and 1/3 off the tire. Wheel is sitting perfect in the dropouts, just the fender is offline. Any ideas to fix?

Giant e bike app- any experience with it?

I just posted this on another topic: I've tried to use the app 3 times - First time. Perfect. Second time it dropped connection and didn't record the ride. Third time upon viewing the ride stats in Strava it flatlined the cadence and speed for 90% of the ride, i.e. it was working correctly for...

    Ridecontrol App Crashes

I've tried to use the app 3 times - First time. Perfect. Second time it dropped connection and didn't record the ride. Third time upon viewing the ride stats in Strava it flatlined the cadence and speed for 90% of the ride, i.e. it was working correctly for about 5 kms then locked the speed at...

    Quick-E+

Yeah they replaced some 38mm Panaracers so we're a nice upgrade. Big, tubeless. They were awesome. I only need 30km of range so that isn't a worry.
