Show us pictures of where you ride your ebikes!

Replying... Crapola - we got a fair amount, but it's Calgary and it will disappear on it's own in a few days. I did take my battery out of the Intrigue last night as the temps were iffy and my garage is uninsulated. Pulled out my warmer clothing in preparation and brought the ISP Wheels back...

PatriciaK's Italian ebike tour adventure 🇮🇹🚴🇮🇹

I've a very good friend over there right now, on a cycling tour with his wife. They're in Emilia-Romagna presently and having a ball. Lunch venues like this could maybe even get me back on an analog bike! OK, maybe not but it sure looks divine. I hope you have similar types of places to enjoy...

Another jaunt up "the hill" again yesterday. Weather was beautiful for the start of our Canadian Thanksgiving weekend. First photo is southwards to downtown Calgary off in the distance - was there last evening at a live theatrical show of Stephen King's "Misery". 2nd shot is facing west -...

Winter Biking Advice From A Minnesotan

I ride until about -12C (10F). Multiple layers but an absolute must is a wind resistant outer layer. At the lowest temps, I swap out my normal Fox helmet with beanie underneath + wrap sunglasses, for a K2 ski/snowboarding helmet and goggles. Yes - a balaclava is often in the mix and so are...

Keeping the theme from @Prairie Dog, some more colours from Southern Alberta. This one was pretty steep - spun out a metre from the top on the way up to the photo location. There's these all over the southern slopes of Nose Hill - I loved the juxtaposition of the dead and the alive. Not...

Winter Biking Advice From A Minnesotan

I'd rather ride with Baklava than a Balaclava... but with our winters here, it's usually the latter.

Really bummed out with the exit - a sensible contributor to turn to when the "friendly banter" turned to "outright rude" in many other parts of these forums. One thought, and I may be completely off base, but wasn't David's wife very ill? That would certainly have one making certain choices...

Some random shots from suburban area I do most of my riding. I do love Autumn up on Nose Hill. I had noticed a few of these green boxes hanging in trees around the hill, so I stopped to have a look. I hope to head up to the hill again tomorrow - been away for a while on a golf "tour" and...

Is jealousy a mortal sin when it involves cycling (especially when it comes with Italian food)? Asking for a friend... ;)

Schwalbe Johnny Watts (and other Schwalbe SUV tyres) User Club

Guys, it was "used" rims for the winters...WTB STi rims 30mm and I got the ISPs (29"x 2.4") used as well - very cheaply. Cassette (in reasonable shape) was included - I added a new 203 Rotor to simplify the swaps as the wheels came 203/180. and I didn't feel like fiddling with the brakes each...

Schwalbe Johnny Watts (and other Schwalbe SUV tyres) User Club

Personally - not that fussed about tubeless, but everyone's needs can be different. I suppose, for my "summer" tires on my Intrigue, I should look into it, but for my studded tires, don't care. Plus to be fully transparent - I have a full swap of 29" wheels with studded (Ice Spiker Pro's)...

Has anyone used Garmin Edge 130 with a Giant e-bike with RideControl One remote?

As stated in the other thread - many others, including myself, have successfully used Garmin products with ANT+ equipped Giant bikes. Unfortunately, I can only confirm that it works with a model 830, and others have confirmed about the 530. There is an APP called "Ebike Field" and the author...

    GIANT RideControl App 2.0

Same as @DaveMatthews, Giant APP works fine for me but I was underwhelmed with features other than updates, and so use a Garmin on my 2021 LIV Intrigue for stats and display. It can also do route directions, but I haven't used that yet (types of riding has been pretty basic lately). Like...

    The Queen passed away

I wonder how the current state of affairs figured into her passing. Sending Boris packing and confirming Liz Truss as PM was her last major task. She was a great lady - IMHO. My wife served her a G&T many, many, years ago when she was visiting Canada.

Somewhere between 2000 and 2500 Kms on my 27.5 x 2.6 JWs on my Giant Fathom. Tread is still looking rather good although that bike is not being ridden much anymore - just a spare for friends until it's sold. I miss their quietness on pavement on my new ride, although I don't ride on paved as...
