Stolen In Toronto! Help keep an eye open

@YYZ2017, very sorry to hear about the stolen bike. If you have the serial numbers from the bike & battery put together an email with a modest sized image and contact as many local shops as you can. Give them specs on the battery & charger too, we have snagged one thief when he tried to buy a...

    1st gen diamant zouma Qs

Totally agree with Ravi on this; Trek actually had a couple of models that used the BionX motor systems. By this point the battery will need to be rebuilt; however, re-programming it may be an issue. None of us are sure exactly when the BionX main computers will be shut down which could impact...

Let's see your best pic of your electric bicycle

@Reid, Currie Tech only made that Cruiser model with the springer forks for one season. They were a hit although the forks were kinda so-so but the styling was very popular. That bike was in the days of the brushed side mounted motor and one heavy lead acid battery pack. Think you were pushing...

    Tariff on Ebike orders!

@charlie g, the whole ebike tariffs have not been resolved; however, there may be some relative to the battery. The whole ebike tariffs are under open discussion until July 23rd and sometime after that a decision will be made which could effect late August or Sept. shipments if the whole ebikes...

    R&M Load 75

This is all from this year's EuroBike show, so 2018-2019 models probably won't be available until later in the year, particularly here in the US where most European bikes are slower to arrive. Have you checked out Riese & Muller's website for the 4 versions of the Load that are in production...

    Question for Rad Wagon owners

@Louky, I agree. Unless you are doing a lot of technical off-road riding; you don't really need a bunch of gears up front. The motor power more than compensates for that and with 8 to 10 gears in the rear you'll have plenty of gear options for speedy flats and hill climbing.

Known Issues & Problems with Hebb Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

@Hebb Biker, is your current battery the original? If so, consider getting it rebuilt by EbikeMarketPlace (a part of RPE) or do a search on our site; Court and a couple of other people have recommendations for independent electronics specialists who rebuild lithium batteries. Looking for comments on Evelo Electric bikes

@CodyDog, a couple of my customers have earlier Evelo bike models that are still going strong. They all like the NuVinci systems for it's ease of use and the decent torque of the mid drive motor. With the new Bafang mid drive (I have retrofitted one of my own bikes with a BBS02 kit) she will...

    Basic Bike Chain Care

Your bike's chain is an impressive component; mostly taken for granted yet a critical part whose care is often ignored. With up to 116 links and 8 parts per link, a bike chain has more moving parts than any other component on a bike. For power transmission, a chain drive is very efficient...

How to Make Your Bike Ride More Comfortable - Seatposts & Suspension Seatposts

Few topics are as sensitive as the connection between you and your bike's saddle. The right seatpost can change a stiff, rigid bike frame into a more forgiving comfortable ride, dampening bumpy roads and potholes or smoothing an off-road trail. There's a significant impact force transmitted up...
