Pace 350 ghosting (motor running when not pedaling)

hmm all 4 of my bikes the walk mode is activated by holding the down button for 3 seconds and it moves fast, like 3-4 mph I hate it, I don't need power assist while walking

Pace 350 ghosting (motor running when not pedaling)

most bikes have walk mode. on most of them it is activated by holding a specific button for 3-5 seconds. are you accidently pressing/holding one of the buttons?

Why Do E-bikes Get More Flats Than Motorcycles?

very simple explanation. bikes are ridden on the far right (or left in some countries) of the road, the movement of traffic over the lanes couple with airflow move the majority of the debris to the sides of the road. motorcycles typically travel in the center of the road with cars. since...

very impressed with the Diamondback Current.

yeah, $40 on amazon. though I am not used to them, I don't feel stable using them except for long straight-a-ways with no incline or decline. though they are a great place to house my phone and I moved the Kiox display up there using a profile design aerodrink bracket I found on amazon...

    polishing the knob.

yeah I get it, had the same type of shifter on my fat tire, and those grip tape things worked fine. on my new bike it has the drop bar shifters so not an issue.

    polishing the knob.

hmm, one would think a bit of grip tape would be a better solution that cutting up or drilling the shifter. https://www.amazon.com/Dragon-Grips-Hex/dp/B07DD69HKJ/ref=sr_1_1?crid=3HP375EP4HNJW&keywords=HEXMAG+VINYL+GRIP+TAPE&qid=1644355910&sprefix=hexmag+vinyl+grip+tape%2Caps%2C116&sr=8-1

very impressed with the Diamondback Current.

2 weeks ago, I received my Diamondback Current. I was in the market for a road/gravel style bike, I really wanted the Specialized Creo, but could not justify the price point. I test road the Yamaha Urban Rush a few times and I really liked it, but I couldn't get past the cheap Chinese look...

mid drives are not for everyone/throttles are fine

Out of the box it is 79lbs I believe. but adding a cargo rack, fenders, second battery, panniers, horn, and various other things, plus what I need to carry with me to and from work (laptop, food, etc) yeah 100lbs or so.

mid drives are not for everyone/throttles are fine

So I now have both and mid and a hub drive bike, I recently purchased a Diamondback Current with a Bosch Performance line mid-drive. plus, I have the Cyrusher XF800 hub drive, which has 30,000 miles on it now. I love the Diamondback, for exercise and leisure riding it is far superior to the...

Why do I always know better?

Thank you, it is not something I could do on an acoustic bike it wouldn't be worth it based on the time it would take, I have tried it and it takes about 1.5 to 1.75 hours without the PAS. With the e-bike I average 22mph, I use riverbed bike paths for 14 of the 25 miles, to and from, which cuts...

Why do I always know better?

I use it to commute back and forth to work, and have lost over 250lbs in the process, I just replaced the 3-4 hour a day car commute with exercise via the bike.. Bike riding isn't the only thing I do, I just chose to replace one form of transportation for another.

Why do I always know better?

well as I stated in the past, I started with an e-bike because at my weight a traditional bike would have been discouraging. no way I would have used it to commute to and from work 50 miles a day and put over 30,000 miles on it in 18 months. at the time I bought what I could afford and what...

Why do I always know better?

bought my kid a $699 Rattan Challenger with a 250watt motor for Christmas 2020, she has put 3,400 miles on it without a single issue. it did 2 things for us. got her and I to connect and bond as we ride together on the weekends and it gets her to school and back (11 miles) several days...
