MC seems to take longer to save the ride than before the update. I also get "trying to get location" merely trying to view rides. The phone knows exactly where I am!

80+ which I think is pretty firm. I'm sure most of it is my weight and loaded bike weight.

I've also had pretty good replies to Ride Care inquiries. Just about two weeks ago, I asked about the battery in the TCU (top tube display) and received a reply in one or two days. I've also had spare parts shipped to me - those little rubber stoppers that fit the Creo's kickstand screw holes.

Would you know the history of those areas. That is were most of these open fields, forests way back when or always a mixture of groupings of trees and open meadows?

I'm on the aluminum Creo, carry too much weight in the rear pannier and too much personal weight. My age might also contribute to the slowdown. I seem to about average 2% per mile on our moderate terrain. (I don't do any precise calculations but eyeball the values at the end of each ride)...

It is the underwater light bulbs that need periodic replacement that is the challenge! We have a few lakes of that color but not that size nor that setting. Most are cirque bound.

The pannier does not clip to the bottom but rather has an adjustable arm on a swinging pivot that engages the rack's rear "vertical" strut. The pannier is about 10 inches from to back and when folded/rolled to be level with the top of the rack, about 14 inches.

I am using the Ortlieb "front" roller panniers (bright yellow) on the rear of my Creo. There are a lot of adjustment points that can be angled and rotated to grab racks in all sorts of ways. The rollup avoids the zippers and the yellow is far from khaki!!!

Can't help with getting chains back on. My Creo now has a small thingie mounted to keep the chain from jumping off (and getting jammed between the chainring and the motor housing). It just takes fiddling and as you found - Wowwie - it is back on!!! But, yes, the chain will self-correct as you...

Nice work. I'm still sure someone will jump to Specialize's defence in any event although I read about these battery blowouts too often. Clearly, it was an issue that Specialized recognized.
