If anyone finds a business that repacks Brose batteries, please post their findings here. I know Bosch batteries are capable of being repacked. This is the reason I will never go with a proprietary motor/battery package ever again. What a shame.

Yes I know about the Gmac, but the Pinion gear drive is a totally different beast.

I would say go in a different direction. A bike with a Pinion drive and a Gmac motor would round out your stable of unique, high quality component builds.

While perusing the Kindernay website, I noticed that they talk about a break-in period for the Kindernay hub. According to their website, they recomend you do an oil change after the first 500km to flush out any particles, etc. from break-in, and then oil changes basically every 5000km after...
