The 'Dirty Little Secret of the E-Bike Industry'.

What are you talking about....been riding my Voltbike Bravo all winter. Just got to dress according. Today I was cleaning chain and upgrading to ceramic brakepads. I would say there were less than 7 days of not riding for me...

2020 : Our Rides in Words, Photos & Videos

First time running out of battery and 10km from home after a 50km ride with a wrong turn. As luck would have it I ran into my boss at the corner of the Hwy buying maple syrup from the Mennonites. Loaded the bike on the truck and made it home.....Definately considering an extra battery...

How Safe and Practical is the Used E-Bike Market :

The cost of a battery alone would make me shy away from a used ebike purchase. Plus I had a warranty claim that was processed quick. I don't believe there is real savings in buying used...

    true bike security.

As a Locksmith I can tell you the best defense is a GPS tracker. No lock out there can't be defeated by a cordless grinder in 30 seconds.

GoCycle Best Way to Deter Thieves

Most Ebikes can be powered up without a key. The key that came with my Voltbike Bravo is for removing the battery only. You should be using a chain and lock to secure your bike to a fixed object at the bare minimum...or someone can just pedal it away regardless if its powered.

    groceries

I have to disagree. My Voltbike Bravo weighs 59 lbs and climbs stairs easily. My trick is use the throttle while giving the handlebars a push and the rear wheel goes up the step with little effort. I apply the brake to hold the bike on the step and disengage the motor. I walk up a step then I...

    Can we change the culture?

The laws and regulations here in Canada do say what I am riding is an Ebike. I'll let my elected officials and lawmakers decide on the legal issues in regards to my Ebike. I don't believe anyone in North America would advocate for a 250Watt limit like Europe either.

    Can we change the culture?

I am not seriously disabled and certainly feel no guilt when using my throttle. I ride all year. Sometimes I am tired or my knee is bothering me so I use the throttle. Ridding in heavy snow and freezing conditions I use my feet as outriggers or skis and use the throttle. I have had a pedal fall...

How many of you park inside the home?

BEN is part lab and he is both a runner off leash and a puller on leash. He stays at home when I ride and gets his walk later.

Using a leaf blower to dry bike

I'd be more worried blowing water into bearings or electrical components at 81 mph. I normally dry my bike gently with an old clean towel. Clean and lubricate the chain and since I park inside I figure the heat of the room evaporates the rest of the moisture remaining...

    Online Purchase Warranty Service

All I care about is my PAS system is working again, not the $10 shipping charge. The original intent of this post was to point out that an online purchase and subsequent need of parts/warranty was met with a quick response. Customer service is what it's all about these days and Voltbike is a...
