Hydra screen cable severed from control pad. What now?

Anyone good at repairing electronics could splice that back together. Or you can buy a replacement here: https://www.greenbikekit.com/dpc18-display-for-bafang-motors.html Choose the "UART, Eco and Sport mode(0-5 levels PAS,default LCD for M620)" version.

Innotrace X1 (Archon X1) controller issue (solved)

Yikes. The one way roller bearing will likely shift again because the helical cut gears cause side loading. Next time, push out the bearing, thoroughly degrease the surfaces and reassemble with Loctite sleeve retainer. I think the same thing happened with the rotor shaft pulling out of the...

    Battery starting to fail?

Check if there is a broken pin on the bike side of the display connector. Strange things happen with a missing ground connection. I'm struggling to think of how it can display a high voltage but a correct percentage, though.

    Battery starting to fail?

Check if there's a factory reset option in the advanced menu. It might sort out this glitch.

    Battery starting to fail?

That really seems like a 52V battery on a 52V display. Even if you charged a 48V battery with a 52V charger, the BMS should never have let the voltage get that high.

    Battery starting to fail?

You would see these percentages for a fully charged 48V battery if your display was set to 52V

    M620 new quieter gear comparison

I attached audio of the old and new, quieter M620 rotor and third gear from Green Bike Kit. The first 3 seconds are the old gears, the last 3 seconds are the new gears. My old gears look practically new, so you're not hearing worn out gears. Recording conditions were carefully controlled...

Re-greasing the Ultra motor...is it time?

On the "controller" tab of the dealer version of the X1 Tool, there's a button labeled "detect encoder". I'm almost certain it's for calibrating the rotor magnet. It would spin the motor, so have the back wheel off the ground.

Re-greasing the Ultra motor...is it time?

That answers my question if the rotor gear is made of harder steel than the "third gear". Seems like it's not. That's unfortunate.

    Hydra - 52v to 48v

It can be done with the cracked administrator version of the X1 Tool. The download links have been removed from the programming discussion thread, but I'll try sending it to you through private message.

    Bafang Motor's Waterproof Rating?

I don't have this large hole. Is it where the wires exit? Mine has a block of rubber that the wires pass through.

    Bafang Motor's Waterproof Rating?

BBSHD has spindle seals, M620 does not, so the waterproof rating is variable between models.

    Bafang Motor's Waterproof Rating?

There are some online claims that they are rated IP65. If that was true, I wouldn't find rust and dust in my M620. I personally rate the M620 at IP51. It could be IP65 with some seals on the crank spindle.

Re-greasing the Ultra motor...is it time?

Does anyone know if the smallest gear (the one pressed on rotor shaft) is harder steel than the adjacent gear? That way, the adjacent gear would be sacrificial as it is cheaper and easier to replace than the rotor.

Re-greasing the Ultra motor...is it time?

Yikes! The second gear looks very worn. The tooth profile has worn down to a triangle. The sides of the teeth should be curved like the gear beside it. I imagine the center section of the first gear is worn out too. You're looking at a new rotor (the first gear is pressed on) and a new second...

Archon X1 Programming Thread (questions and experiences)

1.0.12 has the same checksum hash value as 1.0.10 (it's the same file). I don't know why it exists.

Archon X1 Programming Thread (questions and experiences)

There should be two exe files. Maybe your antivirus deleted one? XTOOL.exe will launch x1Tool_1_0_10.exe and jump past the login. They need to be in the same folder.
