    Garmin Edge 520 Plus problems

It has the most recent firmware on it, I already use Garmin Express for it and all my other Garmin units Battery holds a charge, plus it was plugged into a solar recharging USB battery pack all day outside. Everything functions on it, except for getting the GPS lock.

    Garmin Edge 520 Plus problems

I have a Garmin Edge 520 Plus that I got used and it worked great when I got it, nearly 2 years ago. It's from Europe so it's map base is Europe. I was able to download a map pack on it and that works fine. About 3 months ago, it stopped getting a GPS lock. I do not know if this happened...

Show us pictures of where you ride your ebikes!

The display on my bike has a USB port on it, I have splitter cable attached to it, and one end plugged into my GoPro (it's battery is old and impossible to replace) and my Garmin GPS. I've never had a problem with either device running out of power.

    Excuses to Ride

Rode up to Autozone to get some bulbs for the truck and the SUV. Something fun that I see around here all the times, and a glimpse of a road I travel all the time. I'm sure some of you will think I'm crazy for taking it. I was hard on my front brake making that right turn at the light, my...

    Fulfilling a dream

Fryer is in, and I got the pan and the drawer from the metal shop yesterday. We setup the canopy and a couple of tables lastnight and made dinner in the trailer. Burgers and chicken legs, waffle fries, and corn on the cob done in the steam table. Also made some "angry corn dogs".

Ahh, high performance speaker wire, the choice of audiophiles everywhere. I got into an argument with one many years ago when he said he could tell the difference between something sampled at 44khz and 44.1khz. After Monster cable came out some magazine did a test with a some self proclaimed...

    Fulfilling a dream

Be wary of buying wire when dealing with such small voltages or large currents. Much of the wire out there today is CCA, Copper Cladded Aluminum. Over long distances there's a significant voltage drop and with large currents, there's a significant increase in heat, which leads to increase in...

Fryer is back from the shop and it works perfectly. He did recommend having the thermocouple replaced but it's functional for now. He didn't have any in stock and wouldn't have it for a couple of weeks. Every one of these appliances has a different method of lighting, we're going to make a...

    Excuses to Ride

I grew up riding bike around here. At 12yrs old, I was regularly riding the roads, going to the local market or hardware store. I used to ride bike to school which was about 5 miles. As I got older I'd ride further. Friends and I used to ride out to a mall or the outlet shops for giggles...
