    Hydra as a commuter?

My glove size is medium/large (depending on brand), I like the thicker PNW Loam grips because it's easier to wrap my thumbs around them without putting too much pressure on my palm between the thumb and index finger. I have been having pain in that exact area.

    Basic Hydra suspension

I uncapped the air spring on my DVO (gouged the aluminum on the nut, too, while I was at it 😭) and lifted it up to find that there was nowhere for me to add oil. Reached back out to DVO and he mentioned that I need to remove the core of the valve and add it in there, and "make sure you put at...

    Hydra as a commuter?

Sorry for another offtopic comment but coincidentally I've had the exact same knife (non-serrated blade) for something like 14 years, solid choice! The OneUp composite pedals are similarly sticky, especially with a pair of Five Ten shoes! The Crankbrothers Stamp pedals that came on my Hydra...

How can I get a status update on an order?

Unfortunately WW has had a lot of trouble with supply chain as @Csubi mentioned. I got my bike 4 months after ordering (June 2021 to October 2021) which was lucky, just because someone else had ordered my exact specification and subsequently returned it (they had ordered a large and received a...

What lights are you using on your Watt Wagon? What about helmet lights?

Rockbros sells things through Amazon, too, FYI... You'll pay a little more, but you'll get it in two days instead of two months lol...

    Basic Hydra suspension

Robert at DVO suggested to "add 10cc of 7.5WT oil above the air piston" which just requires a 32mm thin-walled socket. Unfortunately I don't have a 32mm so I'd have to run to Harbor Freight or something to grab one, annoyingly I bought a 27mm socket for the Suntour I had. If Suntour doesn't...

    Basic Hydra suspension

From what I've been reading online/seeing on YouTube, DVO makes some of the best stuff on the market when it comes to mtb suspension and some people even prefer it over Fox which appears to be the gold standard. Even though it's specced as the base suspension on the Hydra, it's actually pretty...

    Hydra as a commuter?

SKS Mudrocker rear and Crud XL front fenders are amazing in Seattle, hardly get any mud on myself when riding trails. I don't ride in the rain much because bike electronics lol. I might get an SKS front fender since the Crud XL I have actually cracked, if I can't fix it with some strategic hole...

    Hydra as a commuter?

I got some from https://betterbolts.com/ last week, I got some bronze ones for my headset cap and brake calipers. They look really nice and have plenty of color options, but no blue. They ship from the US (LA area).

    Hydra as a commuter?

My Hydra came with a 42t front chainring and 11-51T cassette. I do a fair amount of street riding as well as trail so I don't think I would change from the 42t front. I would probably drop to an 11-50T for better derailleur compatibility, though with the Garbaruk cage and Wolftooth Goat Link I...

Worth the wait, Hydra is here.

My bag came with a new reservoir so you won't have to worry about what size it fits! I think it's a 2L. I tend not to use it much though because it's a huge pain to clean them lol. Bottle Bright is great though.

Archon X1 Programming Thread (questions and experiences)

Yeah I thought something was wrong when I tried to log in on my desktop. WW told me it was tied to the device MAC address. I know you can spoof the MAC address of a device, but that would be annoying to have to do every time.

Worth the wait, Hydra is here.

Check out the Osprey Synchro pack (they make a 5 liter and 12 liter in a few different colors). I have the 12L. It has a trampoline-like suspension that holds the pack entirely away from your back, it's the best backpack I've ever had. Zero back sweat and it holds a great amount without being...

Charger Needed for my Hydra Fatty

I called WW and Gregg wrote me up an invoice for a 3 amp charger for $50. No complaints here, but it is not programmable so it will charge to 100% and hold it. I just needed a travel charger I could fit in my bag, the 10 amp charger that came with my bike is a monster.

Archon X1 Programming Thread (questions and experiences)

Good stuff guys! I found some pretty good settings for myself but have been experimenting a bit more with varying the amounts of pedal torque between assist levels instead of changing the torque sensor sensitivity levels. I'm finding anything above about 350 watts is excessive for singletrack...

    Luna X2 Impressions (Hydra Comparison)

Gotcha, yeah I've seen these frames around for a while but I was under the impression they were replacing the frames the Hydra and Luna X2 use because I can't find them anymore on Dengfu's website.

Watt Wagons Critical Product Availability Status

I had a gift sent to a house I hadn't lived at for 3 years a while back. I contacted my old landlord who had since sold the house, so my only option was to drive over and knock. Thankfully they were understanding and handed it right over!

Need advice magura brake on ebike

So I contacted Magura USA and they're sending me a new lever! I asked if they can supply individual switches and they said no, which is very unfortunate, because that's the weakest link in the e-stop lever assembly.
