    Service and delivery problems: Solved?

I've had a similar experience. Juieced seems to have focused on products, which is not a bad thing when you're starting up. But at some point, they need to realize that customers need and expect problem solvers throughout the company. Right now, customers with no issues are maybe 95%...

Chain Keeper on the CCX can it be sold separately?

You probably won't need a chain keeper if you shorten your chain (Juiced seems ship them longer than necessary), and switch to a wide-narrow chainring.

Thinking strongly about ordering the CCX

Road bike helmets can be dangerous. The multiplicity of vents tends to concentrate point loads. You might have been dead without your road helmet, but you might have been less dead with a multisport helmet

Known Issues & Problems with Juiced Bikes Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

Good to hear that WD-40 did the trick. I'm sure there are others who will say you should have just used contact cleaner, which has a lot of the same volatile chemicals without the light oil. But I say oil might prevent surface corrosion -- and this might have been your original problem...

Thinking strongly about ordering the CCX

746 watts is 1 horsepower. 750 watts was probably a good choice for the federal e-bike power limit. Track cyclists can do 750 watts for about a minute. Horses probably can do 750 watts as long as they feel like it.

Love my CCS, losing patience with Juiced

Here's the video, 1 minute 6 seconds long: Except for the color, the hub looks the same as mine, which is labeled BFSWX02 48V (10). Of course, if you were doing it, you'd probably clean and grease the ring gear (assuming you're supposed to). Also, the freewheel is already attached to...

Love my CCS, losing patience with Juiced

Points well taken. They can use any warranty repair strategy they want. But if they're not going to try to fix the hub, why not just send a new wheel in the first place? I'd be back on the road in a couple of days. I could send back my old wheel in their box if they wanted. And if they...

Love my CCS, losing patience with Juiced

Summary - My bike's been off the road for a month now -- this is getting old. Here's my story: my rear hub staring making groaning sounds under load after a few hundred miles. It's gradually gotten louder, and I was afraid it would fail entirely the day after the warranty was up. To me...

    CCX Smaller Chainring Options

I didn't mention I have a CCS not CCX, in case you want to factor that in your decision.

    CCX Smaller Chainring Options

I am running a 40 tooth chainring with the stock cassette. Lots of hills around here, Marin County, CA, and I am nearly always in ECO mode. This does make for high cadence over 20 MPH, but it's not totally outrageous. It's a Raceface ring, wide/narrow teeth for single ring use. It's...

    cross current s question(s)

Regarding spokes, in the November 2017 Production Update on the Juiced website there's a picture with a caption "Smaller 13G spoke sits flat against the motor flange." If they had been using spokes with heads too large for the flange drillings, there could be lots of unwanted movement, causing...

    cross current s question(s)

It's distressing to hear about CCS spokes breaking! The 12g spokes on the back 13g on the front should be plenty beefy enough. Spokes usually break due to fatigue. The most common places they break are the bend, the head, and the threads. I'm guessing that the factory is not stress...
