Powerme,
1) Many report good results with the Thudbuster seat. I gave long consideration to going the Thudbuster route before deciding on going full suspension, and was one major reason why I ended up with the Jumper version. There are many reviews on the Thudbuster.
2) My experience on...
Does Europe have lower boost levels than the USA?
That is about the only way to get more range I can imagine.
You will find reduced boost on the last bar as the voltage drops below 36 volts.
I try to avoid this much drain on the battery as the manual indicates it reduces the number of charge...
Powerme,
10 miles is a long ride. Keep having fun.
Flat tires are unavoidable. I didn't see you mention carrying a kit to replace a tube; but those flats always come far away from home.
Chain lube and tire inflation are the easiest ways to keep riding efficient. My friends use Tri-flow Teflon...
Steve,
When the bike starts the surging I will adjust the plate sensor and also spray it clean with water. The plate is very sensitive to adjustments. I try to keep the large bolts on the sensor as close to 10 N-m as possible, and the smaller bolts at 1 N-m. I did purchase a torque wrench for...
That was a good long trip for the first time out.
Finding a place for a water bottle is always a challenge on our eMotion bikes. I ended up with a clamp-on for my seat post, but am not all that happy with the solution.
Keep up the reports.

Congratulations on the new bike.
Looking forward to updates.
Adding a handle bar mirror was probably one of the better things to help me with safety.

I found the 350 watt was plenty on single track trails (Jumper emotion, but same motor I think).
Always best to do some test rides.
Started out around 280 lbs, now around 200 lbs. Helped me.
Good luck.

Just to clarify a point, the change is roughly 30% greater. (Energy in joules = voltage x amp hr x 3600)
I did encounter difficulties when changing to the 12 Ah battery, which Kyle and Chris Nolte were eventually able to help me solve (thanks guys).
In my case the prime limit on range is my...
A good question.
On my jumper (2013 version maybe?) I can get around 10 miles using the 9Ah and around 12 miles using the 12 Ah.
But this is on single track with elevation change of around 1200 ft, averaging around 12-14 mph, with a rider weight of about 200 lbs. (@ 18 km dist, 350m elevation...
Thank you for an excellent overview of the LCD panel.
Those features were not obvious to me, and not in any the documentation I received with the bike.
It took me months to accidentally discover the backlit display, and I end up needing to ride in the dark to often.
Two things I wish Easy...
Thanks Levi.
It does pedal freely backwards.
I did try squirting small amounts of TriFlow between the cassette gears.
Also I wash using one of those brushes which looks like a large tooth brush to get between the gears.

Thank you for the suggestions.
My "local" bike shop is 50 miles away, so you can guess I end up trying to figure out most things on-line and doing it myself.
I'm unsure of which is the correct Cassette Removal tool to order for my NeoJumper.
Shimano type:
FR-5 12 spline, 23.4 mm
FR-5, 12 spline, 23.4 mm with guide pin
FR-1.2 12 spline, 23 mm
Any advice is much appreciated.
