    Purchased New Boomerang Platinums Today

After 350 miles on my Boomerang (not the Platinum edition) I do NOT feel any frame flex. I saw Court's review and did not get the impression he noted "LOTS of frame flex". Nor do I have a problem with the weight of the battery on the rear rack. 20 mph is fast enough for me. I ride for pleasure...

    Purchased New Boomerang Platinums Today

We have the extended lengh ramp which is needed because our rack sits a bit higher on the back of our small motorhome. It takes a bit of practice to keep both tires in the ramp as you push up the bike. Yes, I put the 26" on the inside, however the weight difference between the 26" and 24" is...

    Pedego Boomerang Platinum Question

I measure the voltage on my Pedego 48v 15a battery after each ride to determine the percent of charge left in the battery. At full charge it measures 58.8 volts on a digital multimeter.

I Fear We Could Be Near Prolonged Massive Disruption in Trade With Mainland China

    Pedego and the Element

Our experience with our local dealer since purchasing two Boomerangs last February (a 26" for, 24" for my wife) has been exceptional. Everything you hear and read about Pedego's committment to customer service and satisfaction has been true for us. I've been on 3 of the monthly group rides and...

    Noise Caused By Loose Spokes

My 26" Boomerang with about 225 miles on it recently developed a "tink tink" noise apparently coming from the rear wheel and related to the speed of the bike. It was heard when pedaling or coasting. I read somewhere it might be caused by a loose spoke or two. I wiggled each spoke by hand and...

    Purchased New Boomerang Platinums Today

We had the dealer install the "hitches" on both our Boomerangs. The tech had to drill out the mounting hole a bit to fit the larger axle shaft on the Boomerang. The Platinum model was indeed available at the time we purchased our two Boomerangs in February.

    Purchased New Boomerang Platinums Today

Now that I have about 260 miles on my Boomerang and not having the features you mention on the Platinum edition I realize how nice it would be to have those. A few yeara go we bought (through Amazon) a Booyah brand pet trailer for taking along our small dog. We considered purchasing a used kid...

    Boomerang Platinum Edition Question.

Rather than posting the in the Panasonic forum you should post in the Pedego forum. Much better chance for some good advice.

    Purchased New Boomerang Platinums Today

A very well written of your buying experience. My wife and I bought two Boomerangs last February (a 24" for her and a 26" for me). They don't have some of the features as yours since they are not the Platinum model. We had the same great experience at our local dealer and chose Pedego for many...

Boomerang Walk Assist Mode, Garage Hoist Capability, Handlebars, and Mirrors

The Pedego mirror (select left or right side or both) fits on the handle bar rather than on the end of the handle bars. They are very good mirrors. We have left side ones on our two Boomerangs. Switching to Boomerang style handlebars allows for an upright ride position. A number of people do not...

    Protecting Pedego Batteries During Transport

Harbor Freight has cases of various sizes. Good quality, great price. I thought about getting hard cases for our batteries and chargers while traveling, but decided on a canvas tool bag also from Harbor Freight. https://www.harborfreight.com/search?q=apache%20case...

Which Boomerang Platinum Battery to get?

We've not had any problems with our Boomerangs. No problems with the low step-thru hitting the ground. I can't see that ever being an issue since you really shouldn't be riding a Boomerang in extreme mountain-bike terrain. We added the Pedego "sleek bell" and left side mirrors to our bikes at...

Which Boomerang Platinum Battery to get?

We bought our two Boomerangs (a 24" and 26" inch) in February. Both have the 48v 15amp batteries. The store owner said he doesn't even order the 48v 10amp batteries because "everyone wants the bigger one". I don't know the additional cost of the new 52v 17.5amp battery when buying the new bike...

    Shortage of e-bikes?

Is there something wrong with Pedego bikes that I'm not aware of?

    Shortage of e-bikes?

I see a lot of posts regarding the lack of e-bike inventory, long wait times, etc. Since purchasing two Boomerangs (26" & 24") in February, my local Pedego dealer continues to be well stocked with bikes. They post their sales on their Facebook site and are selling several bikes every week with...

    Anti Theft Warranty

Yes for the anti-theft warranty you must purchase a Pedego approved lock within 7 days of your bike purchase. You can download the Pedego owner manual for all the details and "fine print" regarding the theft warranty. The basic points are if the bike is stolen you must produce a copy of a police...

    Be careful selling your ebike!

I sold our two "regular" bikes last year through Facebook Maarketplace. Both times the buyers arrived at my home in their vehicle. Of course they asked for a test ride and I figured if they took off on the bike, they'd be leaving their vehicle and if that happened and they came back later there...

    Questions about first e-bike purchase

As a followup... I recently took my bike in to get the upgraded pedals and asked the bike mechanic about the thumb throttle. He said "let's put one on and you give it a try, if you don't like it we'll remove it". I liked it and now 30 miles later I still like it! I don't use the throttle much...
