    ONYX E-Bike Factory Tour

Hey Dallant......Where have you been?? Everything OK? There's been a ton of Allant 7 owner's posts asking for help and you've been missing. CN

Class 3 is legal in many states and unlimited is legal on private and approved trails

Oh, he's special all right. They have Olympics for these people. Of course, including him in this group will certainly be seen as offensive to all the others. CN

ONYX is bringing mopeds back in style with US-built 60 mph electric bikes

Not here as I understand it. The issue with these scooters is the pedals are not even usable if you wanted to really use it pedalling, for example, in the event of having a dead battery. I guess it's the position they are mounted on the 'bike', making them essentially cosmetic, so they can be...

ONYX is bringing mopeds back in style with US-built 60 mph electric bikes

Well, to be an e-bike they have to actually be able to be pedalled, so they are a scooter as everybody is saying. There are cases where I live where people are being nailed for riding scooters that are being sold as e-bikes because they have pedals. The pedals are no better than simply cosmetic...

ONYX is bringing mopeds back in style with US-built 60 mph electric bikes

I agree. I only wish we had the ability to 'Like' a post multiple times. These are an eyesore and I'd be hard pressed to think you'd actually be able to pedal them. CN

    Tight plug help

Have you tried giving it a turn first? Or even push it in and then give it a turn? How long has the moisture been there? Maybe there's some corrosion in there now and it needs a shot or two of penetrating fluid first. I'd keep the pliers away from it for sure. CN

I think phone cases are getting crazy expensive

Yeah....BB is just like bike stores now. Well, maybe a bit better. The geeks working in the stores seem to know their stuff but simply don't care. Bike stores...they don't know the product and don't care either. CN

I think phone cases are getting crazy expensive

You're saying you bought a Speck Presidio Grip case and it sucked? The one I have for an iPhone SE is great. CN

Sadly about to return my Kathmandu Hybrid one 500

I have never felt anything I would describe as happening INTERMITTENTLY in the drivetrain. I mean, if it's doing something, it does it ALL the time. CN

Sadly about to return my Kathmandu Hybrid one 500

I'll be riding mine tonight. I'll pay real attention to anything that can construed as a vibration. CN

Sadly about to return my Kathmandu Hybrid one 500

I just searched. The 4120 derailleur does NOT have a clutch. CN

Sadly about to return my Kathmandu Hybrid one 500

I have to wait for the photos to come into my laptop. If you look to the derailleur just to the right of where the Deore logo is, there is a lever that will flip forward to release the clutch. Mine has OFF stamped on the lever that shows when it's forward. This lever is vertical when the clutch...

Sadly about to return my Kathmandu Hybrid one 500

Geez....I was just down at my bike seeing if the Manual was in a pannier. I could have taken a picture to show you the clutch. I'll go back down and do that. CN

Sadly about to return my Kathmandu Hybrid one 500

I believe my cassette is a 12 speed, 53-11. My Kathmandu is a 2021 625 EXC. For the life of me, I've misplaced my Cube's Manual. I'm confident the big cog is a 53. I think you're getting there. Check the clutch like Dave says, and maybe physically check every link in the chain for free movement...

Sadly about to return my Kathmandu Hybrid one 500

Just thinking out loud.....if it's something to do with the bike itself, (other than the drivetrain) it ought to do it even while coasting and NOT pedalling. If it's the motor/drivetrain it will do it while pedalling, as you say. There are plenty of LIGHTWEIGHT guys who can put a LOT of power...

Sadly about to return my Kathmandu Hybrid one 500

Why not go to the dealer tell them you want to ride another one to compare? I think it's a one-off, frankly. If it was common Cube owners would be griping here. I wouldn't think I'd trust a mechanic when they say they don't feel it. I'd tell 'em "I'm not making this up, so ride it for as long...
