    500 Watt Battery Problem

New battery won't power up, no error codes. When plugged into charger (after being fully charged) there are two (2) flashing LEDs Troubleshooting says to remove and hold down on/off button but, the 500 Watt batteries don't have this option (?) Old battery mounts and works fine, it just doesn't...

    Trek Powerfly 4 & 5

I've gone through 3 Freehubs and many hub bearings. I've also snapped the inner axle and had one made (way better) I bought a 'compatible' rear wheel only to discover that Trek fcuks you over by changing the measurement from the end of the end cap to the rotor mounts 19 mm as opposed to...

    Bosch battery failures

My Bosch battery has been the BEST part of my Bosch experience. 2019 Powerfly 7 with over 20,000 km, on my 4th DU, 500 WH battery Over 500 cycles easily now. I run it down most rides and have run it out maybe 6 times It has only gotten warm a few times last summer, never has it gotten hot

    Trek rear wheel update

Here's a photo of the problem that doesn't allow me to run a Formula hub on my Powerfly, due to the lack of clearance for the rotor Trek end cap on the left, Formula on the right According to Trek this is all my imagination. Go figger

    Trek Rear Wheel Fail

Nope. Both hubs measure to 148 exactly. Even my 'go to' tech has NEVER seen this issue and was perplexed as to why Trek would do such a thing

    Trek Rear Wheel Fail

Did you know that you CANNOT replace your Bontrager rear wheel w/an aftermarket one. Here's why... Anyone from Trek have an answer? Thanks

    2019 Trek Powerfly 7 20,000km update

I don't think that they planned for someone like me to ride 30+km almost everyday in all conditions (I'm on the wet coast of Canazuela) The first DU wore out some bearings apparently, the next 2 just threw up a 500 error code. Fingers crossed I'll get at least 12,000km out of this one 🤞

    2019 Trek Powerfly 7 20,000km update

They don't last forever and I think I am near the end of this eMTB's lifespan. But, I will attempt to keep it rolling just to see what can be achieved... The battery is closing in on 500 cycles and has not lost any performance. I am on my 3rd DU all replaced under warranty 12,000km, 2900km...

    Another disappointment from Bosch updated

I live on the wet coast of Canazuela probably just north of you. I ride a lot in all conditions. I take every precaution when prepping for rides. I tape up seems and the skid plate. Also, after every ride I washdown the bike with a garden hose and car wash and spray WD40 around joints and the...
