Real world battery life on these?

OP doesn't sound too happy with the bike. Lots of little things adding up to a poor user experience. I'm seriously considering Rize and will be interested to hear how they stand behind their products.

Speaking of RAD... How closely did you look at their models and compare to R1U? Did you consider service after the sale from each company? RAD gets such high marks there and also has a nice bricks and mortar store to interface with if need be.

I'm assuming anything with the latest Bafang Ultra but wondering if there are more motors out there worthy of consideration? 200-300% more power than anything from Bosch/Yamaha/Brose/Shimano is impressive. The Bafang BBSHD is also a contender of course. Anything else with big torque numbers...

Believe it when I see it. IMO, they are more of a 'purist' ebike company and might see more benefit in sticking with the 20mph limit to stay legal everywhere.

They look to be nice bikes but how responsive is M2S after the sale if the owner has any problems? Where do you get that biked worked on locally? One other concern I have with the Bafang Ultra is burning up chains and the drivetrain with all that power. 160 Newton meters of torque? Holy cow!

I hate the nomenclature and refuse to use it. Maybe because I made my living as a guitarist for years and don't think the term should be used on bikes. Interestingly, hard-core pedal powered cyclists I know don't know the term or use it.
