    Bike Rack

I use cinch straps rather than ratchet straps on mine. Reduces the risk of over tightening on the handlebar. They have worked just fine for over 6,000 miles with the bike on the rack. For me, they are easier and quicker to attach and remove than ratchet straps.

Video: Andy Reviews Ride Scoozy's Veego 750 Fat Tire, Step Thru eBike

I also own the VeeGo 750 and have been very pleased with it. Both the 750 and the 500 have the same rear rack integrated with the frame and rated for 100 pounds. The Rad is rated for 45 pounds. IMO, the customer service beats Rad. I ordered the rear platform rack from Rad and it fits...

    Which 48V should I get? 13 or 17.5Ah

I have the VeeGo 750 with the 13AH battery. I only weigh a buck forty on a heavy day. Recently, on a fully charged battery over flat land riding mostly at 3-5 level PAS out of 9 I rode 36 miles and still had two bars showing on the BMS. Under those riding conditions, I think I could easily...

    Bike Rack

Mine is the Black Widow aluminum single rail carrier from Discount Ramps. The main reason I went with the single was weight. I was not sure if my travel trailer bumper could handle the tongue weight with a bolt on Reese receiver and two e-bikes on it. My rack weighs 34 pounds and is a piece...

Bike racks. What do you use, and why?

I use a motorcycle dirt bike rack. No such thing a overkill. My rack weighs 34 pounds and has a 400 pound weight limit. It does require a 2 inch Reese receiver. It has a detachable ramp, so no lifting the 63 lb bike. I can install the ramp and load the bike in less than ten minutes. The...

    Bike Rack

This is what I use. I just completed a 2650 mile trip with it. 400 lb capacity and under $150.00 from Discount Ramps also sold through Amazon. Straps are cinch straps from Harbor Freight. I find them easier to use than ratchet straps. Includes a detachable ramp, so no lifting. The rack...

    More and more e-bikes!

Interesting, we just completed a twenty-eight day camping trip in Fl, Ga, and NC. We stayed in six different RV parks and never saw another e-bike. As usual, lots of comments and questions about the e-bikes.

Who has a GPS on their bike?

I wear a Garmin Vivoactive HR and also use Under Armour "Map my Ride" on my iPhone. The Garmin gives me more and better data and syncs with the Map my Ride app, but if I inadvertently hit one of the buttons on the watch, if stops tracking and only gives me options to save or discard.

Trying to make a decision on ebike for hunting

@AHicks is right. One of the reasons I did not get a Rad was the 45 pound capacity of the rear racks. I often wonder if the designers of hunting e-bikes or the people who write reviews on them have actually used them for hunting. Most rear racks are so narrow, it is difficult to load and...

Which e-bike for a deer hunter?

I used my e-bike turkey hunting this past spring, and will be using it in the northwest Georgia woods next month when archery season opens. The only way to get a deer out of the woods with an e-bike is with a trailer. There are quite a few trailers out there depending on your friends needs. I...

    Hitch Rack for GSD

This is what I use. I got it from Discount Ramps for under $150.00. It is designed for small motorcycles, only weighs 34 pounds and has a 400 pound weight limit. Works perfectly for my 63 pound fatty either on my travel trailer or my VW which is about the same size as your jeep. I just...

    Bike class restrictions

I have a Class III bike. The throttle will not propel the bike past twenty mph. I typically ride at 20-22 mph on public roads and bike lanes and 14-16 mph on uncrowded MUP's. The only times I have topped 30 mph was because of gravity and had nothing to do with PAS or throttle. I am also a...

    Transporting Our e-bikes

My bike has logged over 3,000 miles on a rack behind my SUV or my travel trailer. I do not remove or cover anything except the key. My bike vendor recommended leaving the battery locked in place when traveling. When I reach my destination, I just roll it off the ramp and ride it.

    HELP Wet eBike

Glad you got your bike working again and I hope you found the source of the water intrusion. I am on an extended camping vacation and my bike has been rained on twelve of the past fourteen days! I ride the bike everyday and today was the first time I got caught in a heavy thunderstorm. The...

    Radmini or Veego Fat Tire

I also carry my bike on the back of my travel trailer and I agree that for commuting only, I would probably have gone with bigger wheels. Having said that, on a 9 mile ride last week, I topped 30 mph on a downhill stretch and never felt unstable or unsafe. Interestingly, at the RV park where...

How Do I Clean My NEW EBIKE?

Mine got cleaned last night during a torrential downpour. We are on a four week camping trip and no place to park it under cover. I even left the key in. Everything worked fine this morning. I don't want a bike that can't get wet. I normally just wash it down with a water hose. If my bike...
