I'm pretty sure the I'll get the Marathon Plus for my bike when these tires finally give it up. Maybe another 2000 kms? I figure I can give up a bit of comfort I get with the Big Ben's now that I'm rolling with the BodyFloat.

I still have the original Schwalbe "Big Ben's". They are starting to show a little bit of wear but not nearly as much as I thought I'd have at 4000km. I was maybe going to look at ordering the New Schwalbe Marathon Plus tires. Apparently they have even more puncture protection!

Hey Rav, Yeah I was just on their site emailing them when you responded! I'll let you know what they say about their system and how it would work with my particular bike. I actually have been interested in getting an enclosed system to do away with the front derailing system. We shall see what...

Do you think this would help me achieve a higher top speed? Or would I just be wasting my time with it? I'll buy it today if it would allow me to maintain 35+mph. I don't really see how if my motor shuts off at 28mph though.

It doesn't matter where they are from. XXCycle is the retailer and any retailer worth anything stands by what they sell. They should be replacing the tire IMO

Hi Brambor, I installed it when I bought the bike. You put the Schwalbe Doc Blue Sealant in when the tire is half full and then pump up the tires. Once you get a puncture, as long as it's not a huge gash or anything it will just seal it up!! Works pretty well...

Yeah that's a cool idea for sure. I'm running a BodyFloat seat post system at the moment so it wouldn't work for me. None the less it's a decent idea!:D
