How many times have you heard "that's cheating!"? ?

I have had a few comments like that, but they seemed to be kidding, and not mean spirited about it. In my experience, the bike starts many pleasant conversations with strangers that wish to know more about the bike. I had the Townie Go parked outside a restaurant at the beach yesterday and...

Thanks. We are not in danger here. The storm surge is more of an inconvenience than a hazard for us. I am very concerned for the people in the Florida Pan Handle. It appears to be a brutal storm.

Where Is The Perfect 2019 Commuter E Bike?

I have this bike and really love it. It’s a quality build with everything I need. This replaced my Townie Go which is a fun bike. These bike are part of Trek and there are plenty of stores within reasonable distance for service work.

    New Trump China tariff's (2nd round - $200 billion)

Thank you. Its like a federal sales tax. Maybe it will be used to help pay down a meager portion the massive deficit we have now from the latest tax cut that is analogous to putting a trillion dollars on a deferred payment credit card. We will have a terrible headache when the bill comes due...

    SuperCommuter Mods

This is a very nice and convenient lock. It came standard with my Townie Commute. You can also purchase the matching cable chain here. It is an extra layer of protection. http://store.electrabike.com/product/electra+abus+steel+chain+ring+lock+adaptor.do?sortby=ourPicks

Upgrading from Bosch Purion to Intuvia Controller

Another option is seeing how much the trek service department would charge to change it. Also, what is your current opinion of your new bike?

    Townie Go 8i on order

There are some changes. You can go to the Electra website and see them. They have two versions of the Townie go now. The lower price one has a derailleur instead of the 8 speed internal hub, and does not have fenders. I think it may also have the Puritan display. The big upgrade is that both...

First crash, fork need to be replaced?

The integrity of Metal is compromised when twisted. It will weaken more when you straighten it. Its not worth the chance of having the fork fail on you while riding. Plus there is the issue of alignment. I cannot tell much from the picture.

Hello and Thanks Y'all! - from DFW (North Texas), USA

Contratulations of the purchase on your New Electra Loft Go. You will definitly enjoy the more active riding style vs your Townie 7D. I purchased the Townie Commute Go about a month ago after my 1600 plus mile riding experience with the Townie Go. I have no issues whatsoever with the Townie...

Help - Choosing a bike with a smooth e-assist feel

Hello Jim. I spend my winters in Southwest Florida. I wanted to purchase an ebike that could be serviced there and also back north in the summer months. That was one of several reasons why I purchased an Electra Townie Go. This brand is owned by Trek, which has a very large network of dealers...
