    Tannus Armour installation tips?

1-0 Tannus I tried to install these and Tubolitos in my 2.6" Schwalbe Smart Sams. Wrestled, literally on the ground with my knees on the tires, using lots of soapy water. There was NO WAY these puppies were going to seat with one person. I broke one tire lever. So I put in regular tubes. I...

Nice, maybe it depends on bike, I've read about some difficult installs.

    2019 Haibike Fullseven LT 3

You could route one but I understand it’s not real easy. There are youTube videos. If I were going to add one after I would look into one of the electronic options.

Fork upgrade for 2020 Turbo Vado 5

It would not work as it is not just a stem but a system. The Shockstop stem by Redshift Sports is a solid product. I had one on a gravel bike and it worked very well.

Difference between 2019 Full Seven LT 3.0 and non-LT?

I have a FullSeven LT 9.0. LT does stand for long travel. My suspension has 150mm of travel, front and back, whereas the standard version of the bike has of 120mm travel. ”Travel“ is the maximum vertical compression of the fork (in front), and shock (in back). More travel is better for rougher...

chain skipping over the bosch CX SES sprocket problem plus motor noise issue

Great looking bike, amazing place to ride. You mentioned southeastern Utah, where about? I did a trip to that area once - Zion, Bryce, Lake Powell, St. George. Love it, want to go back. I have that saddle also, best saddle I've found. I had SES pulley issues recently and the fix was shortening...

Haibike Sdurro FullSeven LT 9.0 in the house...

Yeah, and a bit more like a dirt bike. Man I wanted one of the Mongoose BMX bikes bad when I was a kid! @bob armani thanks, I have the 50mm version on the Vado and also on my girlfriend's mountain bike, and I have cut 30mm off each side of both of those (to stock Vado width). Still plenty of...

Haibike Sdurro FullSeven LT 9.0 in the house...

Hey Bob, yes you would accomplish the same thing. I went with riser bars and a 24 degree stem because I don't trust adjustable stems, particularly on trails, and because I personally prefer the look. As of yesterday they are now "Deity 80mm riser bars." About to go on my first ride with them...

With the Tannus Armour, do you use the same sized tube you would use without it? It seems the tube is a bit compressed in there.

    Riding on soft sand

You can ride Longboat no problem. I rode Redington to Clearwater each recently with my 27.5 Plus tires. You should definitely soften the tires up, but with the Fattie it’s not as important. My buddy has been riding a fat electric on those beaches for a couple of years. I think the RipCurrent is...

Haibike Sdurro FullSeven LT 9.0 in the house...

My fault, mine are 35mm and according to Schwalbe 2.4" (60mm) is okay (I know these are not hard numbers): https://www.schwalbetires.com/tech_info/tire_dimensions

Haibike Sdurro FullSeven LT 9.0 in the house...

@Alaskan are your rims 35mm internal? When I looked up specs my wheel was recommended for 2.6" minimum, to 3". The Hurricane looks like a fantastic tire, through I'd probably wouldn't want to take it onto the rougher trails in the preserve where I ride.

Haibike Sdurro FullSeven LT 9.0 in the house...

Moving this discussion from another thread since it is pertinent to the general Haibike mountain bike discussion: Me: I really like that tire [Schwalbe Hurricane], though in my case running 27.5 Plus I need at least 2.6” for my rims. I have a new pair of Smart Sams, and I picked up a good tip...

I really like that tire, though in my case running 27.5 Plus I need at least 2.6” for my rims. I have a new pair of Smart Sams, and I picked up a good tip from you on that thread about Tannus Armour. I’m going to order a pair, switch from tubeless to the Smart Sams with Armour, and test the...

Bosch owners, do you know this noise?

Thanks for that info @Alaskan, I'll probably go ahead and add the Bikespeed soon and see how it performs with NX Eagle. I took a calculated risk with the Haibike due to the deal I got - internet purchase, Fedex delivery, I put it together, and I have a mechanic for anything I need, like that...

Bosch owners, do you know this noise?

@Alaskan he means the bearing inside the SES jockey pulley. But I’m glad you mentioned that because I did not know it. I want to add a Bikespeed RS at some point for the street (worked great on my last Haibike). Of course that will probably void the warranty as well, if they can see it was...
