That's not the issue in my case. I'm in the highest gear (14) or second highest gear and I am exerting all of my force and my pedal cadence is not that high.

I have the same issue. Pedaling as hard as possible, Sport 5, 2300W controller/motor, max speed around 30 mph on Wattwagon CrossTour.

About 33 mph is the fastest I can go on flat ground with 2000/2300 watt Wattwagon CrossTour. I would say 28mph is the fastest that I can maintain continuously. Going from Econo mode to Sport mode makes no difference on my CrossTour.

I like the snowboarding/ski helmets with the minimal chinbar, but they would be too hot for biking. It would be nice if they had a highly vented helmet compatible with the chin bar for summer biking
