Good stuff!! We are “gypsies” as we are full time RV. We always have our bikes and our own laundromat as well, so we are covered I guess. Since it is Oct TOW ber, we are getting ready to head south for the winter and find some new places to ride. This is us.

You can usually buy a 3 pack or so of basic white T shirts or so. They are flat and pack easily. As they get dirty just throw them away, sometimes you don’t find a laundromat and are just hauling around dirty clothes.

I just use a zippered “money bag” from a local bank. They will give them to you for free and they are mostly water resistant. I keep the bag inside of my panniers. I carry tools on both bikes. Pictured is a friendS Como beside mine.

I always carry tools and tubes, and wear my gloves and helmet for safety. On my e-bike I also carry my charger and a $10 bill. SHOULD I run out of battery somewhere, I can usually find a house or building that would allow a recharge for the $10 bill.

I still have my old Dekra shaft drive that I try to ride fairly frequently. It is not fancy and I have it set up very “old school” style with an analog Speedo. I will upgrade the 3 speed Shimano Nexus internal gear hub to an 8 speed for more flexibility. Nonetheless I just love the old bike.

Just a short 1 mile ride on the acoustic bike today taking the trash to the dump. There is always a reason to ride!!
