    Thoughts about demo bikes?

Ok I have 600$ down will pay the remaining 2k next week. Before I pull the trigger the rest of the way I want to know if I can adjust my speed limit to 28mph? I test rode it and I felt the motor shut off at 26 mph. My other question is where can I buy the city kit? the specialized website only...

    Thoughts about demo bikes?

Great information thanks everyone! I just went to Bike Source on my lunch break and I put a deposit down on a 2015 Specialized Turbo X. I'm really excited to go ride it after work. It is the demo bike but it looks like its never been touched. Like I said I think Denver is slow to get into E...

    Thoughts about demo bikes?

Thats a great deal. I'm going to ride the turbo x today during my lunch break. I think I will get it if they really have the price at 2,600 and the bike is in good condition. I will have the shop check the hours and tell me what it is at. I would love to get the mudguards and rack as well since...

    Thoughts about demo bikes?

I think it may have been just because it was a demo bike. If I had time I would have tinkered around to see what was clunking.

    Thoughts about demo bikes?

I rode a medium turbo today and I wasn't as impressed as I anticipated I would be. It was kind of clunky and making quite a bit of noise when I hit bumps. Anyone else have that problem?

    Thoughts about demo bikes?

E bikes in Denver must not be too popular yet all the shops I called have a turbo x 2015 for 2600. They come with the full factory warranty. What size should I get if I'm 6 feet tall ?

    Thoughts about demo bikes?

I have a local shop that has a Specialized Turbo X. I didn't ask the year but they are selling it for 2,600 which seems like a steal. They also said it is still under warranty. Any thoughts about demo bikes in general?

    Need help picking first E-Bike

Very helpful information everyone, thank you very much. I'm debating between the Diamondback Trace, E-joe Koda, 2016 Protour IZip, and the 2016 Izip Dash and the Crosscurrent juiced bike. I just don't know if I can wait till December to purchase the crosscurrent but it looks like a great deal. I...

    e-Joe KODA

I asked E-Joe about the bike's speed and this was the response Hi Logan, Thank you for your question. The manufacture settings for all of our models is set at the legal limit for street legal ebikes, which is 20mph (using assist only...you can of course go faster if you pedal). However, with...

(Link Removed - No Longer Exists) is this the IE Sport Raleigh? It says it goes 28 mph online. I'm not familiar with the Shimano STEPs system is it reliable? Here is the diamondback http://www.diamondback.com Any suggestions on front fork suspension? Is that a critical component for a lot of...

    Need help picking first E-Bike

Ya I will just throw it over my shoulder and carry it up. A lot of times when we go on family bike rides I carry two mountain bikes up at the same time. I have the option of locking it underneath the staircase but I'm not willing to do that.

Ok I've found some bikes I'm pretty interested in (Link Removed - No Longer Exists) (Link Removed - No Longer Exists) (Link Removed - No Longer Exists) Has anyone ordered a bike from this Mostostrano store? I think I'm also considering the specialized turbo base model and maybe a diamondback...

Ya I've heard the Stromers have a mode specifically for stairs that turns the tire slowly so you can walk it up.

The Faraday bikes are beautiful but how fast are they? I can almost average 20 mph for my ride now and I want to find something that reaches 28 mph. I have visited with Tom and rode some stromers and focus bikes but they were a bit out of my price range. I will call and see if he has any Izip...

Cant you just use the throttle and slowly walk the bike up the stairs? Great advice and I have looked into the copenhagen wheel that seems like a sweet deal. I don't need an e bike because I can make the ride without any assistance but my reasoning for getting one is to increase my average speed...

Ok just read that whole thread and happy now that I haven't purchased a wave bike. Thanks for passing that along. I have a good shop here in Denver, CO I will continue to research and ride.

Has anyone ridden the 700 e bike called the wave ? It goes 28 kind of a beach cruiser style. I have a better idea of what I want now that I've ridden to work a few times on my reg bike. Fenders lights 28mph comfortable riding position and a place to strap my stuff done. I would also like to...

Thats a really good point just from an efficiency standpoint and not putting as much strain on the motor. Having gears and assisting the motor will probably make the motor last a lot longer.

Thank you everyone for the ideas. I've been reading about the Bionx D500 the Bafang and then looking at bikes as well. Is there a disadvantage to making a single speed electric? Your top speed is just more limited right? I could change out my sprocket so it is geared hard and then use throttle...
