WALLKE eBike X3 Pro - Upgrades and Improvements

I couldn't find the email from Wallke. I checked my old orders on Amazon. The one I got for my Wallke GS3.0 is listed for $139.99 and is called " Bucklos 26X4.0 Fat Tire Suspension Fork". If you read down on the questions answered section, the last answer is from another person that put them...

WALLKE eBike X3 Pro - Upgrades and Improvements

I got two referred to me by Wolf from Wallke.com. He sent me the link to two from Amazon. If you can't find them by searching Amazon shoot him an email. I got both, one for the 3.0 (Bucklos) and one set for my Bolton Lancer mid-drive (ZTZ Racing). They will be listed as suitable for 26-inch...

    Lancer

Just got back from a short ride on the ditch bank with the doggies. The mid-drive is starting to grow on me. At first I wasn't so sure. The thumb throttle was on the wrong side for me to start with but the problem is that the throttle was too sensitive and with all that torque it was jerky...

    Lancer

Just ordered a Lancer from Bolton. I should be able to share some info soon. I searched bikes until my eyes were bugging out and finally decided to just pull the trigger on something that was in stock and had the major parts I wanted. Mid-drive, fat tires, and full suspension. I have an...

Is it possible to install X2 wheels on the X3?

I still like the alloy wheels on my old GS3.0. Easy to keep clean and indestructible. When riding in the woods and the sticks kick up into the wheels, they just chop them up like a woodchipper.

WALLKE eBike X3 Pro - Upgrades and Improvements

Inspired by your upgrade video and because I can't ride (waiting for a new battery) I decided to upgrade my old GS3.0. I put on some Bucklos air shocks up front and a A5-rr1 rear shock. Also a 35 degree stem to take the pressure off my wrists. I cleaned up my cockpit by removing the cell...

    Battery Repair

Watched the videos, that helps a lot. Can't find the controller specs on my old GS3.0 just yet, but the closest model that they sell now has a 18 amp controller. I'm not really a speedster now days, I used to drag race, (68 GTX) and fly bush planes in Alaska but now I just use the bike to walk...

    Battery Repair

Also, I'll be trying to program a add on battery voltage meter when I get my new battery. It has settings for different kinds of lithium batteries. I assume that most of these ebike batteries are Lithium Ternary batteries. Would you know?

    Battery Repair

I don't know who makes the case. It looks like the same one though. I'm new to the battery business, if I have a 48v system can I even use a 52v battery? Can I use a 48v battery with a higher Ah rating? My bike has a 750-watt motor.

    Battery Repair

So true. Wallke says their battery is made with Samsung cells, I can hope for that.

    Battery Repair

Yes, that's kind. Mine is the longer one (430mm) with the lock on the bottom and charging port on the side.

    Battery Repair

My battery (10.4AH) died on my Wallke GS3.0 folding bike. I saw someone suggest FTH Power for repair, so I gave them a try. After $25 shipping and a $35 estamate fee, I received an estimate of over $600. I was lucky enough to order a 11.6AH battery from Wallke for $400 with free shipping...

    Power assist

PS. I use my bike a little different than most. I use it some on the farm to get to out buildings and to turn the irrigation on, but mostly I use it to take my dogs for runs on trails and ditch bank roads. They are mini-aussies and can't run very fast so most of my riding is done under 5mph...

    Power assist

Yes, I'm sure it would be best to unplug it first. That would be the way to go. My bike didn't come with any instructions much less instructions on advanced settings. I didn't find this site until I had my bike for months. I really didn't want any power assist at all. I like it to work like...

    Power assist

Thanks for the great advise. It's just awesome to have access to such expertise . My bike doesn't have a connector plug down by the crank. I'll pop it open tomorrow and see if I can find the plug at the controller. Thanks again.

    Power assist

Thank you for the reply. It's great to get a for sure answer. It looks like one could remove the sensor from around the crank if one could get the petal off the crank shaft but my gear puller wouldn't budge the pedal arm. It's really on there tight. I cut the wire coming from the sensor and...

    Power assist

Has anyone like me disabled the power assist function? Is there any problem with doing that? I found the pedal assist bothersome because it would give be a blast of power when I wasn't ready for it. I am happy with the way it works now. I have an older 750w Wallke and I couldn't find a way...
