    Power issues??

    The recent firmware update solved my false readings on my 2015 St2 Stromer, power available display showed 0 volts sometimes on the Omni screen. Hope yours gets solved. Seems like that update helped mine. So far .

    First Time Battery Use

    Chuck E Seat post suspension was a game changer for my St2 . I have a Thudbuster LT. Best assesory I have added so far. St2's are Great bike s. Been spinning and grinning with my 2015 now for a while.

    Potential Stromer Buyer

    Stromer was my 1st E bike . OMG ! I have a 2015 ST 2. Still like the 1st day , blown away by this bike . Quiet as a mouse , and climbs like a Billy Goat. You can even easily shift gears during a steep climb ! So happy I jumped in with both feet on my 1st purchase.

    Cover for motor when transporting on car

    Yes, I found my Bosch motor covers when traveling with bike on rack , at Motostrano.com. 2 pieces. I use the small one when cleaning bike while on bike stand.

    Looking for a commuter/trekker hybrid

    If you can test ride a Hai- bike Urban Plus, I liked it. Lots of bells and whistles. You can see the brake light two blocks away !!and the horn has a electric actuator.

    Taking battery off for travel

    If it is Bosch powered , they make 2 covers made out of like wetsuit material. One for covering the motor and one where the battery plugs in at the bottom. I got mine at Motostrano.com. in Redwood City , California.

    Alex C, I just updated my firmware on my St2 . Now I have V 3.4.14513 on about 4/30/18. Seems to have solved start up issues I was having . Still need more rides to know for sure.Thanks Joe for the Stromer link FAQ. Very helpful,need to remember that one.

    1st. time updating myself without calling Stromer to push update over phone. Yay ! Went real seamless and smooth. Hope this solves my battery registering O volts lately on initial installation.     hauling stromer question

    Super nice rack I have the same, also a St2 2015 if you have exposed rear door handles in high winds tie it off or learn the hard way like I did. Don't forget to use the Kuat lock cable I drape mine over the pedal ,that's what kept mine from flying off the rack when the winds got a hold of it...

    When not using battery power to ride.

    Don't know the technical answer but it's the magnets on your motor peripheral that are dragging that keep it from freewheeling someone will chime in and explain it in more detail. By the way those magnets are extremely strong about 30 of them
