Bike tires? Puncture proof? Skid proof?

I got on EBR this evening to post what happened to me today but this thread lends itself well so I will post here. I commute with my ebike roughly 3000 miles a year. I quickly got 'tired'(excuse the pun) of getting flats. The easiest thing for me to do was call my wife and have her pick me up...

    Commuter questions!

Boo. Here is my two cents worth. I have been doing a 41 mile round trip commute to work for the past six years. I try to fire my bike at least three days each week. This has been on a juiced CCS. It Is a rear hub. I have put over 15,000 miles on it. I live in the Appalachian mountains and...

    Intro/beginner E-Bike Recommendations

My wife has a townie 7D and she loves it. A few months ago, i saw on this site that they started making them in e-assist. Check out that review and see if she can find one to try out. They listed in your price range.

How many ebikes do you have?

5 all together. Two are DIY recumbent. And yes, always looking. Mostly looking for a used XL P38.

Anyone figured out a chain ring protection option for pant cuffs?

Tuck them in your sock. I know, I know, it looks goofy. But then again, your riding an ebike, not a sports car. We all probably look goofy to the non-e-bike world.

CCX log after 2 years & 15,000+ miles & melted connectors today.

Youth. Same thing happened to my CCS. I bought the parts from reention. The one on the frame is plug and play. You have to open the battery and solder the other connector though. Take pictures. Watch a few YouTube videos on soldering. Be careful not to arc flash, as I did...

Known Issues & Problems with Juiced Bikes Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

No. My experience. It makes it harder to keep up with cumulative mileage. I keep a running total on paper in my bike trunk.

Known Issues & Problems with Juiced Bikes Products + Help, Solutions & Fixes

I have a CCS with the 48v 19ah battery. Well, the connection between the bike and battery melted down on me. I contacted Juiced support but they said due to safety issues they do not sell the connector for the battery. Any suggestions as to how to get my bike up and running without...

    BBS02 Battery question

I think just two wires but it is a three pole connector.

    BBS02 Battery question

Sorry about taking so long to reply. Our internet has been down. It is an older Actionbent. I measured 2 11/6 which translates to 68.262 my so I figure it is a standard 68mm bottom bracket. I'm thinking I can get something on eBay to go from a three pole two wire to maybe an Anderson plug.

    BBS02 Battery question

I am looking to put a BBS02 on a recumbent bike and want to use either the battery from my Juiced CCS or my wife's Voltbike. This is new territory for me. Would this be complicated to do? Seems like it would be a good idea as I already have these batteries available. Feedback would be...

When was the last time you rode an acoustic bike?

When I first got my e-bike it was for a long commute. I still rode my me-bike on the weekends. Gradually, I lost my feelings of loyalty to my Surly. I am planning to "ride the plains" in April though and now realize I need to get back on my me-bike just to make sure I'm up to the ride. The...

    Can we change the culture?

I sure hope the weather breaks here soon. I gotta lose some weight!

    Can we change the culture?

It will take more than that to make me hate you. I must say though, I'm keeping my 1.1hp motor.

Is the Bafang motor used on the Crosscurrent line customized for Juiced?

Hey youth. You just needing slow down on racking up all those miles. Your making the rest of us look bad!

    Killer Slopes

I can say this. Whatever you are doing on your regular bike an ebike should at least double it. Don't buy that bit that you will arrive at work refreshed and sweat free. It's definitely easier but, in my experience, you'll still get a workout if you live in the mountains
