    Simple lightweight ebike

Hi That number is a guideline, not a limit. The new laws specify top speeds, and determines that speed with a 175 pound rider. Electric bikes are weight sensitive, you won't get the same performance as the weight goes up. This is not a one size fits all bike, it's for a specific type of...

    Simple lightweight ebike

Thank you My web site was redesigned by a person much smarter than I am. I have had that same issue, and have had not been successful getting that changed. If you click on FAQ instead of using the drop down menu, just click on it, the FAQs open. It makes sense to the guy who did it. I think...

    E-Bike Suggestion

Well that is interesting. It's an electric Moped, not an electric bike. While those look like they might be good, the places it can be ridden will be restricted to the streets.

    Simple lightweight ebike

This is a fairly small light weight bike. It's very strong (Look closely at the frame) the frame manufacturer told me I could offer a 7 year warranty, Many heavier riders like it. There's a video below. It's not a bike for a 350 pound guy who does not want to pedal. It's for people who like...

    E-Bike Suggestion

George At some point you lose the bicycle part of this and just should go out and buy a 40 year old Honda Cub.

    Simple lightweight ebike

So I have to ask, have you seen my bikes? 250 and 350 watts, 20 mph, throttle and pedal assist, internal wiring, internal controller on the 250 watt bike, close to 30 pounds, a long range with a nice new type of battery. A quality bike for $999. I'd put it up against the Cinelli city bike any...

Folding eBike Suggestions for a Technomadic RV Garage?

Hi I think you will find that, while there are a lot of conversions out there, there are also a lot of ebikes in the market, just about every configuration imaginable. Be careful of doing a conversion, it's easy to wind up with an inferior bike. What looks to be a viable alternate is a device...

    Cemoto Electric Folding Mountain Bike

I was riding one of my other bikes when I stated talking to a guy riding his $7,500 Stromer. He said he didn't like it because it wasn't enough like a real road bike. I have ridden them and agree with him. At 62 pounds it ain't a bicycle, it's a moped, and slow moped at that. But a moped can...

    Cemoto Electric Folding Mountain Bike

Hi I'm pretty happy with my bike, as it folds so I can store it on the ground behind the hook I store another bike on, and, it fits in the trunk of my Honda Civic. At Burning man, where the conditions were extreme, my bike looked to be perfectly suited with the full suspension, and preformed...

    Cemoto Electric Folding Mountain Bike

Vincent: Thanks to you I spent the day (so far) working on that bike. I put the 5 inch bars on it I have had lying around, and a different seat. Now to go test it out. I checked my rear wheel, no looseness at all. I checked the bolts in the arms, all were loose (a little lock tight is a good...

    Cemoto Electric Folding Mountain Bike

Vincent: I had two bikes of this design from different manufacturers. One had the issue you mention. The entire bike wasn't of the best quality. But it was fast, did 22 mph, with a 250 watt hub motor. That bike was stolen. The one I have has a 350 watt motor with far better components. All...

    Cemoto Electric Folding Mountain Bike

Hi Please explain exactly what part wobbles. Is it the disk in the pedal assist?

Is there any interest in a quality 30 pound electric bike, for a good price?

I have a great bike (that someone here likes a lot) for a good price, so it should sell. Every time I ride one of the bikes people comment positively.

    Cemoto Electric Folding Mountain Bike

This bike looks like the bike I took to Burning man. It was the perfect burning bike. The longer range and full suspension, both of which the fat tired bikes lacked, made it perfect for that event, I covered a lot of ground. The quality seems pretty good. If I get rid of this one I know...

One Day left to preorder a ShareRoller on Indiegogo

Wow, what a great idea. A friend thought the city bikes were electric because of the battery and the internal geared hub. As a French guy (where they have electric bikes for years) told me at Burning Man, once the battery is dead all you have is a heavy bike to ride. The City bike starts off...

Folding eBike Suggestions for a Technomadic RV Garage?

Don't know if this will help, but I find with my folding electric bike I have to loosen the handlebars and turn them sideways to get in it's space behind the other bikes. It s a full size bike with 26" wheels. I have tried this bike in the back of a Mini and it fits!

    California's Ebike law

I'm wondering what everyone thinks about the new law regulating electric bikes that takes effect in California on Jan. 1st. If you are unaware, it clearly defines what is and what isn't legal. Google it if you don't know about this. See chart below. Basically it creates three types of...

Why do you ride an Ebike?

I agree, I ride just as hard as I do with a regular bike, but I go faster and further.

Burning Man allows Ebikes this year

Anyone planning to go? It's an interesting event. . . There's no advertising allowed, and there's no one selling anything. It lasts for a week. Lots to see and do, and it's all free. I usually run a solar recharge station for people's devices and will attempt to recharge electric bikes too.
