These pics look really great. I dig the front rack. The only thing I am not crazy about is the bracket on the seat tube when the second battery is removed. Any way to have that come off with the battery or a sleeker design?

I'm sorry. I don' understand. The kindernay slips either beyond 7 or 4, meaning up through 7 and 4 it doesn't slip. But the Rohloff starts slipping at 5 and 2, ie more often than the kindernay. Why then is the kindernay weaker? What am I missing?

Yes, in a lot of ways this legislation is worse than no legislation at all. Before, at least outside NYC, cops did not know what/how to enforce anything.

Even though your new rack carries the weight low, its a lot more unsprung weight.

I agree with the matte color scheme. Also, think two-tone downtube hides the battery and is stealthier.

Looking at that chunky downtube makes me think there is a way to make it more stealthy with some subtle paintwork. Maybe have half of it painted black. Eg, see the render of the new Exess bike.

I posted the law, which says that. I think it is final. It also seems to say that you can't ride an ebike on a road with speed limit greater than 30 mph, but I am interpreting that not to cover the bike lane or shoulder of such a road. Also, it requires stupid labelling that manufacturers...

Here is the new NY law. Infuriating that throttle is only allowed in NYC, perhaps the least safe place for its use.
