Contacts and sunglass work fine for me!

I charge to 56 volts at 2 amp so nothing gets hot. I deleted my 85% profile and made my custom 80 percent one. I still saved the 100 percent ones for my long rides.

If you do, use a Silicon based oil. Other stuff will destroy the plastic.

That is a poor way to judge issues for any product. A forum is a place where the community comes together, when issues are reported, others can see and learn so if they have the issue in the future they can save time with the upgrade/issue. I have my CCS with 52V, no issues at all. I'm not...

Does anyone else notice on a 52V battery that the charge level bars are not programmed correctly to follow this chart. For example I ended my ride with 46V yesterday and still had half charge on the indicator. This chart suggests I was at 20% (Link Removed - No Longer Exists)

These two brands mean nothing to me currently...You are saying this because you believe they are superior? I'm not trying to be sarcastic, just asking/confirming before I spend 3X the local bike shop price.

I have a 52V battery and charging to 80% or 100% offers no difference in performance. After my round trip commute, there was still no difference. I probably didn't run it down enough after 30 miles of level 3 riding.

I'm looking to install a frame mounted bike pump on my CCS. I want it to adapt it to the water bottle holder threads that were provided. Do you have any recommendations? Also, do you prefer a regular mini pump, or a CO2 cartridge style?

I followed a simple forumla of 14s batteries. So 14 X 4 volts per cell is 56.

This is a nice chart, however I calculated 80 percent on a 52V to be a 56V charge level, not 55.4

I have a 24 mile commute coming up when I get my bike and may end up getting one of these if my route is rough. I haven't ridden it yet as my bike is still in shipment.

Yes, thank you. I remember seeing that in Tora's video. I'll probably do the same thing like I do with my car. Keep track of kWh used, or in this case, keep track of Wh used and get a running average.

I wasn't planning on bringing the charger to work with me. I an going to make my first test ride hopefully this weekend starting at 100% and see how much energy I use and then do some calculations.

I am going to do the same thing. I have a 25 mile round trip I am going to make on my 52V battery coming. According to the chart, I should be fine doing the 80-20 rule, but we'll see when I hit the road for real!

Remember, at 400 cycles, the battery doesn't go from performing 100% to 70-80% instantally, its a gradual change, so after 200 cycles, you may be less than 90% of the performance. I would reconsider... Here is a site with some evidence of battery charging...

I'm the same way. I rode an EMotion Bike and wanted to buy that on the spot. I'm hoping they can deliver at the end of this month as promised.
