    Fat Tire Bike Hitch Racks

I am reviving this thread for only one reason. I see alot of pictures on this thread with the front wheel secured with the arm on the front side of the fender. I have a Rocky Mounts 2 rail rack and had a beach cruiser bike fall off with the front wheel secured the same way. I called the company...

2 New Yamaha Models Coming ...

Hopefully Yamaha will also introduce a dealer network that will support their ebikes too! Right now I cant even find one to transfer a warranty on a bike I bought a couple weeks ago. Even the dealer it was bought from, Del Amo Motorsports.

Suggestions Please - $5k Fat / Fat-Adjacent - 40+ mile trails in the Midwest US

Check out the iGo Outland Oka, I have one. I ride in rocky, hilly San Diego and its a blast to ride. Look up " mission trails e-ticket" on youtube to see a downhill I take a couple times per week. Its a hub drive but has a torque sensor, and therefore feels very similar to a mid drive. I am 5'9...

    Bolton controller on RR ST1

I never said Ive done it did ? I do know that if it were possible on his set up it would solve his problem. Cadence sensor bikes are in most cases inferior to any bike with a torque sensor, unless you want a moped.

    Bolton controller on RR ST1

Installing a bottom bracket torque sensor is as easy as replacing your bottom bracket, plugging it in, and disconnecting your cadence sensor. Just do a search for torque sensors for the motor you have, Im guessing its a Bafang. I have a Bafang hub drive motor with a bottom bracket torque sensor...

    Bolton controller on RR ST1

I dont know much about your bike or the controller you are trying but Im wondering how your bike would feel if you switched your candence sensor to a torque sensor? I think that may give you the feel you are looking for and they're not expensive.

iGo Outland Oka- Hub drive with torque sensor. My review.

This bike really deserves some love; it's a great eFat bike for the price, $2799. The company must be really weak at marketing as there is no discussion here, on mtbr, or EMTB Forums. So Im going to do it for them. Its one of the few eBikes with a hub drive motor(Bafang 500W) paired with a good...

    Bafang REAR HUB motor programming

Whatever new bike you choose, pick one with a torque versus cadence sensor. I have a 500W Bafang hub drive on my iGo Outland Oka e FatBike. It came with a 36 point torque sensor and it performes very similar to a mid drive bike. Ive had a friends with mid drive bikes ride it and they are...

    Starting my ebike purchase journey

There is an iGo dealer in Grover Beach. IGo is a Canadian brand and has nice bikes for resonable pricing. Dont be afraid of trying a hub motor with a Torque sensor; that is key, it feels very similar to a mid drive. I bought their Outland Oka model and it is a blast to ride. Only $2799.
