Range might not be everything but it's a lot!

My commute is 4.2 km so range wouldn't be an issue for me. Not everyone needs huge batteries to cover very long distances and some people use their own peddle power more than others, keeping the majority of the motor assistance for hills, in which case even a small battery can last a...

    Rear cassette issue's...??? Any advice?

Jzt, ebikes use the same gearing systems as "normal" bikes.

    Rear cassette issue's...??? Any advice?

The problem is he's using a 7 speed shifter on an 8 speed cassette which can be finicky to get working for the whole cassette let alone working well.

    Sondors Ebike Review Now Live

For context, here's Bafang display with a 3 button breakout switch - for $80 - http://em3ev.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&path=46&product_id=194 So the Sondors' display is certainly not an inexpensive addition, relatively speaking. But as he has his market by the short and curlys...

    Sondors Ebike Review Now Live

Well, ignoring the marketing blurb for a moment, it's 20% of the cost of the entire bike. But, you don't have much choice if you want to adjust the PAS which is a must in my opinion, if you want to peddle the bike at a reasonable pace without the throttle.

    Bafang v bosch

Not tried the Bosch mid drive but you can chip them these days or get the speed versions to 45kph so speed wise, there's probably not a lot in it. I'm surprised no one has come along with an aftermarket throttle hack for them to be honest.

Rad Power Bikes Rad Rover Review, EBR

Re: turning off the battery - I thought most of these dolphin case batteries came with a BMS that would auto power down if it wasn't used for 10 minutes or so - at least mine has. Nice looking fatbike though - good price for what you get. I know there seems to be issues getting it here in...

Any RadRover contributors out there ?

As far as I remember it was a standard dolphin case type frame battery that you can pick up in Norway.

    The winter is coming ...

Well, the naked lady certainly gets the attention. I wonder how much money they gave her to risk suicide with the hairdryer in the bathtub though? Perhaps she was too dumb to understand the risk.

That's just bizzare. I just don't get it. Surely, there's not a battery embargo to Norway!

    noisy motor?

I don't think mine sounds like that - having said that, the road noise from my tires is quite loud so perhaps I couldn't hear it if it was making that sound anyway.

    Specialized Turbo Levo

That's why there should be (and are) different classifications of ebikes - some allowed some places, others not, though to be realistic, even my 750w motor wouldn't damage a trail any more than an unpowered bike. And anyway, the ignorant haters will hate no matter how low the power assistance.

So, what's the delivery status? Hopefully, you're quiet because you're out enjoying your new bike.

    Specialized Turbo Levo

Nice bike and they say it puts out quite a bit more power than a Bosch (530w 90Nm Max) even if it's only supposed to be a nominal 250W motor. A pity they don't have an even more powerful version. ;D Did you read the comments on woods video? Luddites. lol Oh, and I don't get that you need a...

    bike choice for bbs02

I must admit, even though I have a fatbike with 4" tires and only run them at 8psi it's not the softest ride at speed so a full suspension is on my list for my next conversion - either that or I will buy a Haibike, M1 or HNF Heisenberg. People have successfully used Giant, Trek, Specialized...

    removable display?

Yes, it's probably old, original BBS02 stock with the 6 mosfet design. ;)
