I believe the video review was accurate. I'm not sure why his pedal assist wasn't working. I also think his range test was in line with my range test. I think I got better range because I limited my speed better and tested on flat pavement.

It was very difficult to regulate the speed without pedaling. It would have been nice to have cruise-control and just set it and forget it. If you look at my Garmin data you'll see I was above my target average in the first 2 miles so I picked a new target. The course was an out and back and...

I haven't tried but I doubt the bike could make it up a 10% grade without pedaling.

50 mile range might be possible and I'd like to give it a try but how would a controlled test be done, how do you apply equal amounts of power as the motor, keep it consistent and measure it? What would be an acceptable test to validate that claim? Sondors eBike no pedaling range test results...
