Were you able to get this fixed? I just posted about this exact same thing. Can't get it past 5th gear. The guard was mashed in when I received it and I think it may have bent the dropout a little.

How do you do this? Do you have to take the tires off the bike and do you need special tools or just some tire levers? I am waiting for mine xp to arrive but I like the look of these tires a lot. TIA
