I edited that because I accidently posted while reviewing his video.
I think hes just playing with sales figures...dunno.

Another Zoe goes up.

well we used to never have attached garages here in the states because of the incidence of "ice" vehicles cooking off, probably because the EVs are not that common have never seen an EV cooking off, plenty of heavy trucks and autos though, certain models of cars would invariably have scorched paint marks on the bonnet due to carb fires, now when an EV cooks off around here its bound to make the front page on another front which will disturb the renewable energy haters a wind farm in Botetourt is undergoing construction to power a data center its in an isolated area next to an ancient gas transmission pipeline.( I forgot to mention the ice powered mopars that self immolated)

a cool moment in history!

Then last year, it lost the lead. According to Ember’s Global Electricity Review 2026, recently released in time for Earth Day, renewable sources produced 33.8 percent of the world’s electricity last year, compared to 33 percent for coal. It was the first time those two lines had crossed since 1919, when the global grid was still small enough to run mostly on hydropower.

My dad lived through the coal smogs, he said everyone had a constant cough, it became normal to listen to a room of people coughing.
They were also chain smoking unfiltered ciggy's in confined areas. There were sets of days when a person could not see across the street.

Might be a good time to buy an ICE car pretty soon. Too bad there are no tax incentives. After owning EV for 2 years, I may sell it and get either a Hybrid or a Truck. I used to own a truck and forgot why I sold it!

I stopped by the local Toyota shop last week to order a part & poked around the lot while I was there. Kinda liking the new Tacomas. They had at least 100 sitting around. Website is offering 2-3 grand off pretty much every truck. I suspect if this holds to around the end of the year, those discounts are gonna grow - probably with sweet incentives like 0% financing. They're already offering 3%. Not that I want to finance a vehicle, but considering 0% and rising inflation over the life of the loan, they're giving you free money. Factoring the high residuals for these trucks, it kinda makes sense to buy a new one instead of a used one if they offer that again.

Yes, I haven't financed a car in thirty years but right now I reckon that locking in a low interest rate I will be paying the loan off with US Dollars Light.

If I had a Tacoma I would add an 'M' to the end and then a space to the middle. That way it would be a Taco Mama. There is nothing like fresh made tortillas.

I do love my stale, 24 year old Taco, but the new ones are pretty fresh.
the old d21s were as good(2wd) Toyota had the best transfer case, too much bragging ' on those old Toyo rust buckets, the main reason I wouldn't want one.(each to their own-the Toyota dealers around here wouldn't deal)

Regular Unleaded is now over $6 per gallon in the Seattle area.

My feeling on this is that folks have had decades to absorb the fact that if we are running on fossil fuels, we are running on borrowed time. Too few people were proactive and now we have a mess. The best way for people to learn is to let them touch the hot stove and hopefully figure it out for themselves.

The people spreading FUD and disinformation on behalf of the fossil fuel industry really did an enormous amount of harm. I'm not holding my breath waiting for them to own up to it.
